Olivia Rodrigo, Sabrina Carpenter Drama No More? Met Gala 2022 Snap Says So

Aside from the amazing red carpet moments and stunning looks at the Met Gala, the star-studded bash has pooled important people from art, fashion, music, and business.

Returning to New York Metropolitan Theatre, this year's theme is "In America: An Anthology of Fashion." Celebrities and musicians alike strut the red carpet with their best "gilded glamour" themed outfits.

But that is not the only thing that happened at the 2022 Met Gala; the event has made possible the reunions of several music artists, including pop music's newest breakthroughs, Olivia Rodrigo and Sabrina Carpenter - who were both embroiled in a love triangle last year.

The two were entangled in a rumored love triangle with Olivia's HSMTMTS on-screen partner Joshua Bassett - as the latter and Carpenter were rumored to be linked right after the two stopped talking.

Through her smash hit songs in her debut album, "SOUR," Olivia Rodrigo allegedly hinted at the two's budding romance.

Specifically, in Olivia's breakthrough song, "driver's license," the initial lyrics were supposed to be:

"And you're probably with that brunette girl/ Who I always thought about, She's so much older than me/ She's everything I'm insecure about," the 19-year-old hitmaker sang in the unreleased version.

However, on the released studio album, the girl's description was changed from "brunette" to "blonde." Fans of Olivia did not take this as a grain of salt and started theorizing that it has alluded to Sabrina Carpenter, who is, as you know - blonde.

Joshua Bassett, later on, talked about the issue and even revealed that he was hospitalized with the stress of it all.

But with the recent Met Gala photos that Vogue has accidentally snapped. The two looked like they had put the past behind them, or was there really a beef, to begin with?

At last Monday's Met Gala 2022, Vogue accidentally snapped an interesting photo that might suggest that the two popstars' drama might actually be over.

In the photo carousel that Vogue posted, Sebastian Stan, who is handsome in pink, is the main subject. But if you look closely, Rodrigo and Carpenter can be seen in the back of Stan.

Olivia is seen chatting with her fellow Disney alum Sabrina who is, however, only snapped on her back.

Although this might not confirm anything solid, the two engaging with each other says something - that the two have now finally talked to each other after a year of keeping distance.

Carpenter and Rodrigo have neither denied nor confirmed the drama happening between them. So we must wait and see what the two had actually talked about in their next interviews.
