Matt Skiba talked about whether or not he remains part of Blink-182.

Since the American rock band's formation in 1992, it saw members come and go, as Scott Raynor and Tom DeLonge both shared their music with the band but eventually left.

Eventually, they welcomed Skiba as a replacement for DeLonge in 2015.

But recently, the guitarist admitted he does not know his status with the band anymore.

On Instagram, a fan asked him why he has no "Blink" content on the platform. The supporter also said that the band itself does not post a picture of him, either.

Skiba then responded and told the fan that he also does not know whether he is still part of the band.

"Your guess is as good as mine. Regardless, I am very proud of and thankful for my time with Blink 182. We shall see..." he disclosed.

His comment came over a year after he expressed how grateful he felt after taking over for DeLonge.

In an interview with NME, the musician said he and Blink-182 had been receiving overwhelming support even without the original vocalist.

"The overwhelming amount of support and graciousness the fans have shown me overpowers any hate or shit-talking. It feels like our band - Mark, Travis, me and the fans. It's not the same band without Tom, but it has the same name, and I think there's a good reason for that," he said.

Matt Skiba Out, Tom DeLonge In Again?

Skiba's absence in the past months sparked worries that he might truly be leaving the band, especially after Mark Hoppus divulged last year that he would want DeLonge to return to the group.

Hoppus, who recently survived cancer, told GQ that he was open to anything with its past member. Still, he noted that he imagined the four of them playing and working together.

"We haven't really talked about that, but I'm open to anything in the future," he said. "I don't know how that would work if it's all four of us. Like, we're all going to live in the same house again?"

Meanwhile, DeLonge also told James Corden during his appearance on "The Late Late Show With James Corden" that he was open to returning to the band years after leaving it in 2014. He hyped fans by saying that they always talk about a reunion and playing together again, adding that it was their common interest.
