Halle Bailey has been busy over the past year working on the set of Disney's "The Little Mermaid" live-action and she recently has good news for fans as the singer might venture out into a solo career and release new music anytime soon.

According to iHeart, the 1/2 of Chloe x Halle duo just launched her official YouTube channel where she gave her followers an update through an introductory video.

"I am gonna be dropping music soon. I wanna show you guys me in the studio, what my creative process has been like, as well as just showing you all whatever else you wanna see," she said.

The actress added that her everyday life has been "so much fun" recently so she thought of documenting and sharing it with fans.

Bailey's upcoming music would be her first solo project outside of Chloe x Halle.

Upon sharing the video, fans immediately took to the comment section to express their excitement about the new music coming their way.

"Yessss halle,I love you so much and can't wait for your music and all the exciting things that you have planned and put so much work in it and we are so excited to embark on this journey with you," one wrote.

"Yayyyy!!! I love you so much Halle!!! I cant wait for the new music. And a day in my life or night routine video would be super fun," another one wrote.

As of this writing, the singer has not revealed more details regarding new music.

In other updates about the singer, Halle Bailey confirmed last year that "The Little Mermaid" had wrapped up production.

She wrote on Instagram that she auditioned for the role at the age of 18 then they finished filming when she turned 21.

"We have finally made it... I feel so grateful to have experienced this film in all of its glory."

The highly-anticipated Princess movie will be released on May 26, 2023, in theaters worldwide and possibly hit the Disney+ catalog weeks after.

Aside from Bailey, other actors include Jonah Hauer-King, Daveed Diggs, Awkwafina, Jacob Tremblay, Javier Bardem, Melissa McCarthy, and many more.

Regarding the music of her sister Chloë Bailey, the singer has been busy with her solo career after releasing her first song "Treat Me."

In a previous interview, Chloë might be releasing her debut album anytime soon as she revealed that the record is "wayyy too hot to handle."
