Slipknot's highly-anticipated seventh studio album titled "The End, So Far" has been released last week and many fans have been banging out to new songs. However, those who purchased physical albums noticed a big mistake as they shared them on social media.

According to Loudwire, many supporters who bought the merchandise have noticed that the copy they received has a massive error.

As seen on an image uploaded on Reddit, the band allegedly attempted to cover up their mistake by placing a sticker on top of the album's title.

The metal rockers reportedly printed out the wrong title because instead of "The End, So Far," fans have received copies of "The End For Now."

It appears that the band didn't just make one misprint as many fans in the comment section confirmed that they also received the same copy with the wrong title.

Corey Taylor had addressed the issue during a Q&A session on the community platform. He noted that "The End, So Far" was always the intended title of their brand-new record. However, "somebody f***** up and didn't double check with" the band.

Slipknot New Album, New Single

Prior to the release of their new album, the band dropped the single "The Dying Song (Time to Sing)" and the frontman previously explained the meaning of the song to Kerrang!

Over the recent years, Corey Taylor noticed that it's been "trendy" to be offended about something even if it's the slightest misconception or mistake and there is no resolution to the problem.

"It's almost like the tables have turned, and the more angry people get, the more the people who they're mad at just double-down on the s***," he said.

Instead of being punished for their wrongdoings, people would just react to the situation as if they don't care and they're just waiting for doomsday to happen.

After witnessing many situations in his life, Taylor lost all hope he had for humanity, and for him, a catastrophic event should happen to change society's views on many things.

Their latest album was released last week (September 30) and many fans have been expressing their happiness on social media as the band finally dropped new songs after years.
