Sam Smith is making his big return to the music industry this year by releasing a brand new album titled "Gloria." In September, the singer teamed up with Kim Petras for the smash hit "Unholy" but it was only the beginning of their new era as they have more collaborators on their upcoming album.

Taking to their official Twitter account, the "Like I Can" hitmaker shared a short video of the official tracklist of their album as well as the featured collaborations.

Aside from Petras, other artists that are confirmed to be in the upcoming record are Ed Sheeran, Koffee, and Jessie Reyez.

Recently, Smith and Petras made history by being the first openly non-binary and transgender artists to top the Billboard Hot 100 Chart.

Reyez will be featured on two songs titled "Gimme" and "Perfect," on the other hand, Koffee's vocals will also be on the latter song.

Ed Sheeran would be closing the album with the track "Who We Love."

The 13-track album is set to drop on January 27, 2023, but fans may pre-order/pre-save "Gloria" on major music streaming platforms like Spotify, Apple Music, iTunes Store, Amazon Music, and more.

Sam Smith Explains Inspiration Behind 'Gloria'

Last month, Smith, who identifies as non-binary and uses "they/them" pronouns, took to their official Instagram account to share the album cover of their fourth studio album.

The singer, who's popularly known for their ballad hits in the 2010s, revealed that they're overwhelmed and emotional to release the album as it has been magical working on it.

"It has been magical in every way to make this piece of music and by giving this record to you I am giving you part of my heart and soul," they wrote.

They added that the album got them through some of the toughest moments of their life and they hope it could be the same for their fans.

Per Capitol Records, fans should expect "emotional, sexual, and spiritual liberation" in the new album. Smith said they sang freely throughout the new project as they explored their creative outlet as an artist.

The Academy Award-winning singer previously revealed that the record would be their first "non-heartbreak" album as they are popularly known for their sad ballad songs.
