Machine Gun Kelly's fashion at the 2022 American Music Awards became a hot topic after photos of him emerged online.
The AMAs 2022 held a star-studded red-carpet event before the official ceremony started. Machine Gun Kelly, for his part, walked while donning a Dolce & Gabbana suit covered in spikes.
The 32-year-old was nominated for Favorite Rock Artist and Favorite Rock Album for his "Mainstream Sellout."
As dangerous as they looked, the spikes were indeed made of gunmetal, and no one could seem to get closer to him.
During her acceptance speech after winning the Favorite Rock Artist award, MGK hilariously said he could not even pee while wearing the outfit.
"This suit is really uncomfortable to pee in. Speaking of uncomfortable, some people in the rock community have called me a tourist, but they are wrong - I'm a rocket man. We weren't born on the moon, we looked at it we were curious and we went there supposedly," he said, as quoted by OK! Magazine.

Although his AMAs outfit scored attention, he and Megan Fox were previously slammed over their Halloween costumes.
The couple faced intense backlash after showing off their outfits which have since been tagged as "blasphemous" and "distasteful" by fans.
MGK was wearing a black and red robe as he dressed like a priest. He was holding a leash that was wrapped around Fox's neck and giving her a Communion wafer. The model, on the other hand, was wearing racy lingerie.

Fans immediately called them out for committing mockery of Christianity and "sexualizing communion." Others, who are atheists, also found the costumes extremely disrespectful to the public.
Aside from those Halloween outfits, they also got on people's nerves when they dressed up as Pamela Anderson and Tommy Lee, who had an infamous relationship. For what it's worth, Anderson accused Lee of assaulting her while holding their baby in 1998.
It led to Lee's imprisonment for six months.
Machine Gun Kelly and Megan Fox have yet to respond to the recent criticisms regarding how they dress up in public.
