Pantera members shared photos of their rehearsals ahead of the band's reunion shows.

After more than two decades, the surviving and active members of Pantera, Phil Anselmo and Rex Brown, came together again for reunion tours. Its first major tour will happen on December 2 at the Hell & Heaven Metal Fest in Texcoco, Mexico.

Ahead of the event, the members shared what they were up to amid their rehearsals.

In a photo shared by Anthrax drummer, Charlie Benant on Sunday, guitarist Zakk Wylde, Brown, and Anselmo can be seen jamming together. Benant joined them as a filling-in for the late Pantera drummer, Vinnie Paul.

"2 weeks in NOLA with these boys, it's been a lot of work but how could it not?. So much heart and soul is going into it.This is all about the Love for Vinnie and Dime ,the fans and the music that these 4 created.I'm really enjoying playing these songs -they sound Great!" he captioned the post.

Benant hyped fans that the reunion tours would be emotional as the practice itself already hit him.

Fans can look forward to seeing Pantera's performances starting December 2. After its appearance at the Hell & Heaven Metal Fest, the band will jet to Monterrey Metal Fest, Knotfest Colombia, Knotfest Chile, Movistar Arena, Vibra São Paulo, and Knotfest Brazil.

Pantera will have its 2023 shows at Rock Am Ring and Rock Im Park on June 2 to 4, Sweden Rock Festival on June 10, and Tons of Rock on June 22 to 24.

Pantera Reunion Confirmed by Crowbar Frontman

The new photo was uploaded after Crowbar frontman Kirk Windstein opened up about Pantera's potential reunion. The band, which was formed in 1981, lost its members when Glaze left the band and Dimebag Darrell and Vinnie Paul died in 2004 and 2018, respectively.

As quoted by Blabbermouth, Windstein said that the comeback shows would serve as a tribute to Darrell and Paul. He revealed Anselmo and Brown would come together to perform alongside Wylde and Charlie Benante.

Pantera is making it happen with the help of its manager, Scott McGhee of 1 Degree Music Entertainment. Meanwhile, Dennis Arfa and Peter Pappalardo currently work as the band's agents for its upcoming North American tours.
