Ed Sheeran turns into "Ed Sizzle" in a new remix of "Don't." Today (Aug. 18), a new version of the Ellie Goulding-inspired x single was released, featuring a new rap verse or two courtesy of Maybach Music boss Rick Ross.

"Hit the corner, burn the rubber like a stunt driver / Burn the mirror, run the b---h, I'm a big lover / Gotta keep a b---h in check, microphone check / Killed your boy career, still no arrest yet / Snow White yacht in my red Yeezys," Ross kicks off the song rapping, with some casual misogyny and standard hip-hop bragging.

He soon veers on topic, with rhymes about lacking a prom date "women they would love to hate me," he raps in the midst of name checking Kevin Spacey. Ross also talks about partying to fend off feelings of female rejection, a topic Sheeran is familiar with on x.

Except for random tags from Ross, much of the "Don't" remix remains the same, though this version is unedited, with Sheeran dropping plenty of f-bombs, adding to the bite of the original version.

The Ross remix isn't a huge change up for the song, but it does help to add to some of that street cred Sheeran is looking for as he continues to explore the limits of what a guitar-touting singer-songwriter can do.
