Hayden Panettiere's younger brother, Jason Panettiere died over the weekend; he was 28 years old.

According to TMZ, a source revealed that law enforcement was responding to an emergency call; but instead, they found "The Walking Dead" actor dead.

Reports also noted that Panettiere's death is still widely considered a mystery since there has been no announced cause of death.

As of this writing, Hayden is yet to issue a statement regarding the sudden death of her brother, with whom she was very close.

Chick-flick and Disney Channel fans might recognize both siblings as they are both in the film and television industry.

According to The Sun, the Panettiere family has talent running through their blood, because not only is Hayden an actress, she is also a Grammy-nominated singer.

Panettieres in the Industry

Hayden entered the industry earlier than her brother, and began working on several movies and television shows, as well as her music career.

Although mostly known as an actress, Hayden has accomplish quite a feat in the music world as she had once been nominated for a Grammy Award over twenty years back.

Her work in "A Bugs Life Read-Along (Album) earned her a Best Spoken Word Album for Children.

As expected as a Disney Channel album, the actress-musician boasts a charming singing voice and has even released several singles throughout the years.

In 2008, she dropped her debut single "Wake Up Call," then "Telescope" in 2012. "Fame, "Hypnotizing," "Crazy," and "White Christmas" all came out in succession from 2013 to 2014.

She also released a duet version of her 2014 song "Crazy: with Steven Tyler.

Her stint in "The Music of Nashville," has earned her decent rankings on the US country music charts.

On the other hand, Panettiere began his acting career in the early 2000s, starting off with some children's movies and shows like "Even Stevens," "Blues Clues, "Ice Age: The Meltdown," and "Robots."

Together, they worked on two projects, the Disney movie "Tiger Cruise," released in 2004, and "Racing Stripes" in 2005.

Panettiere is Hayden's only sibling, and her silence regarding his sudden death is heartbreaking for fans.
