Stephen "tWitch" Boss' death left people stunned and heartbroken. Tributes poured in from everyone, except one person-until now.
Months after her adoptive father's death, 14-year-old Weslie Fowler finally returned to social media and broke her silence on Boss' sudden and tragic death.
It was a short video of herself reflected in the mirror with a picture of the late DJ; playing in the background is Mac Miller's song "Surf," released in 2020.
She simply captioned the video: "I miss you."
According to Genius, "Surf" is a reflection of Miller's mental state and personal problems.
The lyrics go: "I know we try/ And the days, they go by/ Until we get old/ There's water in the flowers, let's grow/ People, they lie/ But hey, so do I/ Until it gets old/ There's water in the flowers, let's grow."
Reports say that Miller struggled with his mental health prior to his death. He was found unresponsive in his house before being pronounced dead later that same night.
According to reports, Miller died because of an accidental drug overdose; he was 28 years old.

'I love You, Babygirl'
Boss' death was announced, on Dec. 14, to the public through a statement issued by his wife Allison Holker.
"It is with the heaviest of hearts that I have to share my husband Stephen has left us," she wrote.
"Stephen lit up every room he stepped into. He valued family, friends and community above all else and leading with love and light was everything to him. He was the backbone of our family, the best husband and father, and an inspiration to his fans."
Aside from Weslie, Holker has two more children: 6-year-old Maddox and 3-year-old Zaia.
The widowed mother of three commented on Weslie's TikTok video with an equally devastating reply, "I love you babygirl always and forever."
Weslie was officially adopted by Boss in 2013 after he got married to Holker 2013.
Clearly, his passing left a deep cut in Weslie's heart, as she had constantly been uploading on TikTok prior to his death, but suddenly stopped.
This marks her first post after Boss' death, and she decided to honor him in the way she knew best-through social media.
Boss was best known for being talk show host, Ellen DeGeneres' sidekick. He was a co-executive producer on the daytime talk show, and also appeared on the competition "So You Think You Can Dance."
