Blake Shelton and Luke Bryan have previously been good friends, but it has recently been discovered that there may be some bad blood between them.

In TV competition shows and on the music charts, they have been friendly rivals. Yet, their relationship shifted after Gwen Stefani's husband dubbed the "American Idol" judge's song "dumb" in front of a packed crowd.

Blake told the audience at an Alabama event that he had lost his voice earlier in the day and that a doctor advised him to encourage everyone in the audience to sing along to his songs in order to save his vocal chords.

"I know what he's talking about because I've been to Luke Bryan concerts many times and people are signing every freaking word to his songs," the "Minimum Wage" singer explained.

"But his songs are dumb!" he continued.

To add insult to injury, "The Voice" coach performed an uncomfortable little waltz on stage and said, "That was my version of Luke dancing."

According to Luke's friend, he became crimson red after seeing the video of Blake insulting him.

"Blake and Luke are often ragging on one other," a source told Radar Online, "but Luke thought Blake went it too far."

"It upsets Luke that, despite being a major country star, people always criticize him for being lightweight 'Bro country,' and Blake for just playing that up for a fun at his expense," they claimed.

Luke Bryan is apparently preparing to fight back.

"He claims Blake is no Hank Williams when it comes to his songs," the anonymous friend said, "so he should stick a sock in it!"

Yet, it is still prudent to take this story with a grain of salt.

The Differences Between Blake Shelton and Luke Bryan's Music

Blake Shelton and Luke Bryan are both prominent country music musicians, although their music styles differ slightly.

Blake is noted for his classic country sound with a rock & roll twist. His songs frequently feature twangy guitar riffs, classic country instrumentation like fiddles and steel guitars, and a genuine delivery of lyrics about love, heartache, and small-town life. "God's Country," "Austin," and "Ol' Red" are among his successful tunes.

Luke's music, on the other hand, has a more current, pop-influenced country feel. His songs frequently have electronic elements, catchy melodies, and fast tempos. His songs frequently refer to partying, love, and summery themes. "Country Girl (Shake It For Me)," "Crash My Party," and "Play It Again" are some of his hit tracks.

While both musicians have achieved success in many music genres, their music frequently reflects their personalities and lifestyles. Blake Shelton is recognized for singing about his rural Oklahoma background as well as his passion for hunting and fishing. Luke Bryan, on the other hand, frequently sings about his partying and carefree nature.
