Madonna recently announced the addition of eight new venues to her "Celebration" Tour.

Nashville, Tennessee, is one of them, but her revelation appears to have come at the wrong moment, after the state's passage of the "Anti-Drag Bill" just last week.

According to the "Vogue" hitmaker, the concert proceeds will benefit the transgender community.

She also stated that she would be joined by Bob the Drag Queen, the season eight winner of "RuPaul's Drag Race."

In a lengthy Instagram announcement, Madonna said, "The oppression of the LGBTQ+ is not only unacceptable and inhumane; it's creating an unsafe environment; making America a dangerous place for our most vulnerable citizens, especially trans women of color."

She went on to say, "Also, these so-called laws to protect. our children are unfounded and pathetic. Anyone with half a brain knows not to f*ck with a drag queen."

Unfortunately, Madonna's declaration coincided with another scandal that rocked the nation.

Audrey Hale, 28, a transgender woman, coordinated a fire attack on a private Christian school on Monday, killing three children and three adults after Nashville police fatally shot the gunman.

The news drew a lot of criticism on social media, with many people labeling it "ill-timed" and "poorly executed."

One person noted how the "Material Girl" singer knew how to pick her causes, "and the timing is impeccable, as usual."

Others have also stated that under the abbreviation LGBTQ, many people do not favor the "T" and "Q" communities.

An outraged third person said, "Wow, that's a slap in the face to the grieving family."

A fourth person urged, "Yes, let's celebrate trans-folks killing children that don't agree with their choices. #RetireMadonna."

Some noticed how the controversial singer-dancer always knows when to jump on the bandwagon for their only benefit.

While another person thought, "Maybe she could give the proceeds to the families that were murdered by the transgender shooter in Nashville today instead."
