One of the main things that people fell in love with "Flowers" was its stunning music video, it saw Miley Cyrus hanging out, working out on the famous Farralone Mansion in Malibu.
The song, being hailed as a self-love empowering anthem, got everyone talking, and decoding for drama. Among those was the alleged shade of Miley Cyrus to Jennifer Lawrence in the music video.

One thing that many fans and stans love is decoding and searching for double meanings in songs and music videos. Back in January when the "Flowers" music video was released, fans thought that the music video was a huge shade for her ex-husband, Liam Hemsworth.
To start, the actual release of "Flowers" was on the same day as the actor's 33rd birthday. Next, the actual song seemed to be a deep dive chronicling how her marriage and relationship with someone ended.
At one point in the music video, Cyrus also sported a gold vintage lamé Yves Saint Laurent dress from head to toe. According to eagle-eyed fans, it was a nod to Jennifer Lawrence's "Hunger Games" red carpet premiere gold dress which at first glance looked exactly the same except for the main cuts.
"We were good / We were gold / Kind of dream that can't be sold / We were right / 'Til we weren't / Built a home and watched it burn," Cyrus sang on "Flowers."
On top of that, the chorus of "Flowers" was one big answer to Bruno Mars' "When I Was Your Man," a song said to have been dedicated to Cyrus by Hemsworth.
Now, Jennifer Lawrence was put in the middle of the war of those alleging that she and Hemsworth cheated on Cyrus who have been married to the latter while the "Hunger Games" franchise was unfolding back then.

Jennifer Lawrence Debunks Liam Hemsworth Cheating Rumors
In a round of "Plead The Fifth" with Andy Cohen, Jennifer Lawrence answered one of the internet's most burning questions.
"Not true ... II mean, we all know that me and Liam, like, kissed one time. But it was years after they broke up," she said.
Talking about the gold dress, Lawrence said that she "just assume that was like a coincidence."
