Just after the release of her second album, My Everything, Ariana Grande delighted a crowd of fans packed tightly into New York City's Rockefeller Plaza when she stopped by NBC'S Today for their Toyota Concert Series earlier this morning.

Despite the early hour – and hardly getting any sleep, as she noted – the singer succeeded in delivering a stellar performance of "Problem," "Break Free," "Bang Bang" and "Break Your Heart Right Back."

From the looks of it, the young star was shocked by the reception she received from fans. And who can blame her? Today weatherman Al Roker claimed when he biked in (yes, Al Roker bikes to work) at 4 a.m. there was already a swarm of people near the plaza awaiting Grande's performance ... which wasn't until 8:30 a.m.

Check out the singer's performance of "Problem" below:

And perhaps my favorite song on the new album, which Music Times just reviewed in our Junk Mail, "Bang Bang" came later on in the set:

Despite all of the love Grande is getting from her fans, the singer keeps herself grounded, making sure she doesn't get too ahead of herself. She told host Matt Lauer, "I spend a lot of time with my family. ... I just have to constantly remind myself how lucky I am to do what I love."

After her appearance, Grande came out (in a new outfit!) to do a little improv weather-talk with Roker. And the two even did a rendition of "Bang Bang" right there in the studio.

Hmm, who is the better dancer: Grande or Roker? Tough choice.
