• Caitlyn Jenner Talks Fatal Car Crash, Worries About Jail Time in Men's Prison

On Wednesday Sept. 9, Caitlyn Jenner talked to 'Today's' Matt Lauer about her transitioning journey from a male-to-female, as well as, the horrific fatal car accident that ultimately took the life of a 69-year-old woman. Jenner discussed what she remembered happening that day and the scary realization and worry of possibly facing jail time in a men's prison.
  • Brian Williams Still Making Close to $10 Million a Year in Spite of NBC Demotion

Yesterday, it was finally confirmed that Brian Williams' stint as anchor of "NBC Nightly News" has officially ended. While many believed that the disgraced journalist would be completely fired, he has instead been offered a life line at MSNBC. Williams will now serve as the floundering networks' breaking news anchor, a job that still carries with it a ridiculous paycheck.
  • Natalie Morales Says 'Today' Staffers Not Distracted by Brian Williams Scandal

Natalie Morales has been a regular fixture for NBC's Today show for nearly a decade now and while the network has been in serious turmoil in recent months, she insists that the morning show cast is all good. While Today has struggled in the number two morning news program position for awhile now, the pressure that once existed is nothing like what employees of NBC Nightly News are now feeling. Ever since Brian Williams was suspended from the program for lying on camera about his experiences in the field, it made any of the issues behind-the-scenes at Today look quite small comparatively.
  • Is Natalie Morales Out at NBC's 'Today'?

There has been so much attention placed on the Brian Williams scandal over at NBC News that we often forget that much of the network's house is struggling in the ratings. The Today show dominated the morning show battle for a long time, but it has fallen to ABC in recent years and the struggle to climb back on top has yet to be successful. Hoda Kotb sat in for normal newsreader, Natalie Morales last week and the ratings were actually much better than usual. This has led to intense speculation that NBC News is going to push Morales out of her Today show spot in favor of Kotb and not everyone is happy about it.
  • Savannah Guthrie Will Interview Obama for Super Bowl Pre-Game, Inks 'Today' 3-Yr. Contract

Life is pretty good for "Today's" Savannah Guthrie right now. Her first wedding anniversary is right around the corner, she has a 5-month-old daughter at home to keep her on her toes and then there is that morning show gig. Guthrie returned to her co-anchor seat last November and NBC's powers-that-be think she is doing a great job because not only has she inked a new, three-year contract, but they have assigned her to interview President Obama during the Super Bowl pre-game show.
  • No Prenup: Giada De Laurentiis Is Battling Ex Todd Thompson Over Millions

When Giada De Laurentiis and Todd Thompson tied the knot in 2003, signing a prenup was not much of a thought. At that point he was likely worth more than she was, but that changed quickly because by the time they had reached their first anniversary, De Laurentiis had garnered mainstream success. That was the year when she began working with the Food Network, and from that point on the money began rolling in. Now, 12 years later, the couple's financial records are starting to be dissected, and that supposedly amicable divorce is reportedly beginning to get a little bit messy.
  • After 25 Years, Ann Curry Leaving NBC News

Ann Curry's departure from NBC News has been nearly three years in the making. She has been gut-level unhappy at the network ever since being canned from her "Today" co-anchor spot, a firing that caused tons of backlash and months of controversy. While she was cut from the morning program she had spent 15 years with, she stayed with the network, basically making tons of money to do little. Rather than take the $12 million-a-year paycheck for minimal work, Curry started planning her exit, and on Monday, Jan. 12, it was confirmed that she is leaving the network. Curry will be beginning a new media start-up project that is backed by NBC Universal. She will also now be a free agent when it comes to reporting. She might pop up on NBC in the future, but she can also work for whatever outlet she pleases. "This is about reaching for the edge of the future in journalism, which we know is undergoing an irrevocable transition. In today's world of fragmented media, this is the time to seize the opportunity to improve the way we distribute and even tell stories. I want to expand my drive to give voice to the voiceless to emerging platforms and produce both scripted and non-scripted content, in addition to continuing to report on-air about stories that matter," said Curry in an official statement about her new position.
  • Sarah Ferguson Slams 'Sex Slave' Allegations Against Prince Andrew

Prince Andrew has been knee-deep in scandal since before Christmas and he is even allowing his ex-wife Sarah Ferguson to help fight his battle for him. A woman named Virginia Roberts has alleged in a civil suit that admitted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein used her as a sex slave for various high-profile men, and one of those accused men is Andrew. Roberts has claimed that she was forced to have sex with the prince on three different occasions, all when she was under 18. Ferguson sat for an interview on this morning's, Jan. 13's, "Today" show, and during the segment she insisted to Matt Lauer that her ex has done nothing wrong and has nothing to hide. "I will have not one word said about him on any level, any level. I went to stand by him because I know what it feels like to have salacious lies made up about you," she said, calling the claims "just shockingly accusatory allegations." Ferguson also called Andrew "a great father and a humongously good man" and noted "all the work he does for Britain." "I won't stand by and let his character be defamed to this level," she said.
  • Amy Adams Interviewed on Red Carpet by Matt Lauer, Savannah Guthrie After 'Today' Canceled Appearance

A few weeks ago, Amy Adams made news because her scheduled interview with "The Today Show" was abruptly canceled on the spot as the actress waited in the green room. She was scheduled to promote her latest film, "Big Eyes," on the morning show, and when she did not want to discuss the Sony hacking scandal, then producers informed her that her interview was not going to happen after all. Imagine how awkward it must have been on the red carpet of the Golden Globe Awards when Savannah Guthrie and Matt Lauer had to interview Adams! Whatever bad blood may have existed was not present when the three chatted. In fact, it all felt friendly, leading us to think that amends must have been made behind the scenes after the scandal grabbed headlines. Harvey Weinstein, the producer of "Big Eyes," was pushing hard for the network to apologize to Adams, and it looks like it must have happened. NBC had wanted the actress to comment on the leaked Sony emails, the one in particular that divulged that she and Jennifer Lawrence had earned significantly less than their male co-stars in "American Hustle." Adams did not want to be part of that dialogue and also mentioned that Bradley Cooper had just done an interview with "Today" and was not asked about Sony, so she felt that it should be fine for her not to be grilled as well. Adams later admitted that she really did not understand what had happened or why on earth her interview had been canceled.
  • Did Matt Lauer Have an Affair with Giada De Laurentiis?

Giada De Laurentiis has been plagued with rumors ever since announcing her split from husband Todd Thompson last week. She has been accused of cheating on her soon-to-be-ex with several different men, and while De Laurentiis is denying all accusations of infidelity, there is one that is raising eyebrows. The celebrity chef has been accused of hooking up with the host of "The Today Show," Matt Lauer, who is often the subject of cheating rumors himself. According to Page Six, De Laurentiis denies getting cozy with the married Lauer in 2011 in Barbados, where he was filming a segment for the NBC morning news program. The problem is that Lauer has been accused of cheating on his long-suffering wife Annette Rogue, with numerous women over the course of their 17-year marriage. Even just a few weeks ago we told you about how Lauer chose to spend last summer holed up in his New York City apartment rather than out in the Hamptons with his wife and children. That was after NBC agreed to have a helicopter fly him to and from work each day so he could be close to his family all summer. It is Lauer's dicey history that is making many wonder if something did happen a few years ago with De Laurentiis.
  • Did 'Today's' Matt Lauer Walk Out on Wife, Kids?

No other news reader seems to be dogged with rumors quite like "Today's" Matt Lauer. His 16-year marriage to Annette Roque has been plagued with rumors of Lauer's continued skirt-chasing and her instability. As it stands now, the couple are parents to three children and are rarely seen out in public together. In fact, there is speculation that Lauer and his wife split for a while this past summer after new allegations of an affair were made. According to a report by Radar Online, Roque and her children spent the summer in the Hamptons, and even though NBC gave Lauer access to a helicopter to get back into the city faster for work, he instead chose to reside in the couple's New York City apartment. At that same point in time, Lauer was allegedly spotted out and about with a woman who was not Roque. Supposedly, the couple took a short break and then Lauer begged to come home for the sake of their kids. Of course, sources close to the morning show anchor claim that his reasons for living alone in the city were completely work-related.
  • Ray Rice Insists He, Janay Have Only Had 'One Bad Night, It Just Happened to Be on Video'

Did you catch Ray Rice's interview with Matt Lauer yesterday on "Today"? The sit-down interview had actually been booked with Janay Rice, and it gave her an opportunity to finally speak about that horrific night in Atlantic City last February when Ray knocked her out cold in an elevator. The couple had been dealing with their issues semi-privately until the surveillance video went viral last September, and the fallout has been huge. Janay answered all sorts of questions about their relationship and insisted that her now-husband has never laid a finger on her other than this one time. Supposedly, Ray came home near the end of her interview and decided to appear on camera. Perhaps NBC thought it would feel more impromptu and less strategically planned if Lauer talked to the couple while standing in their kitchen. Once they all settled in around the island, Rice insisted that they have only had this one bad night together, and unfortunately there is video to document it. He also claims that working is not his biggest concern right now. Ray told Lauer: "The big deal is for me to always protect her, and that's why I said I take full responsibility. She can do no wrong. This is something, you know, as a man you have to own and, we're horribly sorry, and I'm horribly sorry for everything that I have to put my family through. I still got to live every day, go take my daughter to school. She's going to grow up and the way the Internet works now she's going to Google her father's name and the first thing that's going to come up is, you know what's going to come up."
  • ABC News Anchor David Muir Furious 1st Darren Wilson Interview Went to George Stephanopoulos, Not Him

We told you a few weeks ago that there was a serious fight between the networks to score the first exclusive interview with Ferguson Police Officer Darren Wilson. CNN's Don Lemon and Anderson Cooper as well as NBC's Matt Lauer all met with Wilson before he finally decided to sit down and talk on the record with ABC's George Stephanopoulos. As it turns out, perhaps the person most bent out of shape over Wilson's choice is "ABC World News Tonight" anchor David Muir. Apparently Muir believes that as the network's evening anchor, he should be the one who is in the running for the serious "gets," not just Stephanopoulos. Sources close to Muir dished on the fact that he is furious exclusively to Page Six.
