Netizens are disgusted and disturbed by how Miranda Sings, whose real name is Colleen Ballinger, addressed the child grooming allegations thrown her way in recent weeks.

"Some people are saying things about me that just aren't true," Ballinger began in her 10-minute video she uploaded on the video-sharing platform. "Even though my team has strongly advised me not to say what I'm going to say, I realized they never said I couldn't sing about what I want to say."

She then proceeded to sing about the "lies" and "gossip" that were hurled her way with a ukulele.

Ballinger, who is known for making parodies of songs on YouTube under the alias Miranda Sings, rose to prominence in the early 2010s; aside from being a YouTuber, she is also a singer, writer, actress, and comedian.

Miranda Sings Hit With Grooming Accusations

According to reports, several former fans of Ballinger came forward, accusing the YouTuber slash singer of inappropriate conduct towards them when they were minors.

One of the fans, Adam McIntyre claimed that Ballinger sent him underwear when he was 13 years old; on top of that, he also alleged that she would bring up sex in a group chat that included other minors.

"I would be in class DMing her on my iPad...about her abusive ex-husband," McIntyre added. "I was so involved in this woman's life that it's embarrassing to look back on."

On the other hand, Ballinger's song discussed the group chat, noting that it was a way for her to connect with her fans.

She slammed the accusations in her song: "Thought you wanted me to take accountability / but that's not the point of your mob mentality / your goal is to ruin the life of the person you despise / while you dramatize your lies and monetize their demise."

She then doubled down by accusing the allegations were "made for clout," and shared that the "only think [she's] ever groomed is [her] two Persian cats."

"I'm not a groomer, just a loser / who didn't understand I shouldn't respond to fans / and I'm not a predator even a lot of you think so / because five years ago I made a fart joke."

Netizens Lynch Miranda Sings

Netizens were shocked by how Ballinger went about her statement; many called it "tone deaf," and jested about how she probably rehearsed the song numerous times before uploading it.

"The musical apology caught me off guard, surprised she's still around and didn't disappear after her Netflix show bombed."

"It's giving those 'breaking my silence' edits except no one asked her to try to play the victim for what she did."

"She gets accused of being a p*do and the first thing she grabs is a ukelele? Oh, she [dont give a f**k]."

As of this writing, there has been no legal action coming from the fans' side or Ballinger's.
