Ed Sheeran might be one of the biggest musicians in the world today, but this won't stop him from mingling and having fun with fans at different events as he recently surprised some of his supporters during a recital concert.

According to People Magazine, the 32-year-old singer surprised members of the Boston Music Project Youth Group during their performance at the Tobin Community Center in Boston, Massachusetts, before headlining his massive show at the Gillette Stadium that evening.

Sheeran shared the touching moment on his official Instagram account by posting a video where he sang an acapella version of his track "The Hills of Aberfeldy" from the album "Subtract."

"Morning off in Boston so went to surprise this kids music group, was so fun," he wrote in the caption.

He was later seen talking to the children on stage as he plugs in his guitar, saying "You guys are fantastic. Thanks for letting me play with you."

The British musician performed "Eyes Closed" along with the children who had different instruments with them.

Not the First Time Ed Sheeran Surprised His Fans

This wasn't the first time Ed Sheeran made a big move for his supporters as he also shocked bargoers at a bar in Atlanta with a performance and free drinks for everybody.

Per the outlet, the singer visited the SweetWater Brewing Company where he served beers and performed a short gig hours before his big show at the Mercedes Benz Stadium.

"I'm in Atlanta and I've been told that there are some breweries that are good in Atlanta so I'm gonna go to this brewery, serve some beers, play a gig, and then buy everyone in the beer garden drinks," he said in a video.

"For one hour, drinks on me," Sheeran said before singing some of his songs in front of fans. He reportedly performed "Eyes Closed" and "Perfect."

Ed Sheeran Loves Surprising His Fans

Aside from holding surprise gigs, Ed Sheeran also loves surprising fans, even though they're on the street.

According to Billboard, a TikTok account with the username @MeetCutesNYC featured a couple where they shared a few things about how they met each other, they also revealed that one of their common interests is their love for Ed Sheeran.

The singer later appeared in the video to greet the couple and shared heartwarming parenting advice as they are expecting a baby.
