From "Barbie Tingz," "Black Barbie," "Barbie Dreams," to "Barbie World," Nicki Minaj has sung and rapped about being Barbie for the longest time compared to any other artist in music! So it is only fitting to see her be included on the "Barbie" movie soundtrack.

As she arrived at the Pink Carpet premiere of "Barbie" in Los Angeles yesterday, Minaj stole the show, as stars America Ferrera and Margot Robbie were sent into a frenzy over the Queen of Rap's presence.

Nicki Minaj's Full Circle Moment in 'Barbie' Premiere

The fact that her loyal fanbase's name was derived from "Barbie," goes to show that Nicki Minaj really deserved to be in "Barbie." Besides this, she and Mattel have had a longstanding history with each other already.

In 2011, Mattel made a limited-edition Barbie for Nicki Minaj as she pretty much branded herself as one at the start of her career, up until today. Notably in her "Super Freaky Girl" music video, Minaj channeled her Barbie-ness and even recruited her own Ken with Alexander Ludwig.

As she arrived at the Pink Carpet premiere, Minaj was asked about her thoughts on being in the project.

"I am so excited to be here and be a part of this entire moment," she told Entertainment Tonight. "I'm glad that they thought of me because I'm excited just like everybody else is excited to see this movie."

Minaj is included in the star-studded "Barbie" movie soundtrack for a track with Ice Spice. Their song, "Barbie World," samples Aqua's iconic "Barbie Girl," reimagined with a sharp rap flow that everyone is using on TikTok already!

Minaj has been referring to herself as a "Barbie" since that's why she considers the feat to be a "very full circle moment."

Nicki Minaj Rejected Songs For 'Barbie' Movie Soundtrack

While she also wanted to be in the project, Minaj never lost the sense of her artistry as she became candid in picking songs to be included for the soundtrack.

"There were a couple songs that I didn't love," Minaj confessed to the outlet. "This 'Barbie' sample, I loved it. I just wanted it to have a dope drum, and so the one that they sent me, I loved! And I jumped on it right away."

Nicki Minaj and Ice Spice are behind "Barbie World," the highest-charting single of the soundtrack on the Billboard 200 albums chart at No. 4.
