"Barbie" is perhaps the biggest movie of the year and the ensemble cast is something that people have been raving about for quite a while. Usually with a cast with this great star caliber, one would think that lead stars like Margot Robbie and America Ferrera would be the persons that would send smaller artists to be starstruck and fawning over them.

Turns out, Nicki Minaj was that celebrity!

Nicki Minaj Sent America Ferrera Screaming

America Ferrera plays Gloria in the actual film, a Mattel employee who happened to find Margot Robbie's "Barbie" in real life. The Emmy-winning actress was in an interview with Variety when she was sent into a frenzy over Minaj's arrival.

While she was asked if there is a particular Barbie inspiration for her Los Angeles Premiere outfit, Ferrera and the interviewer were stopped as they heard a collective scream nearby.

"Wow, people are going crazy over somebody," she said as she looked toward the direction of the noise. Immediately after, they tried to guess who that is, upon realization, Ferrera's stylist in the background ran to her and screamed "NICKI MINAJ!"

"I can't believe I just did that on camera, that was so embarrassing," Ferrera reflected happily. When asked what she thought of Minaj, she had this to say: "Her track on this album is unbelievable," Ferrera continued. "How could you take a track that already was so ingrained in people's minds as one thing and make it the most amazing thing that we need for this movie and this moment? She's a badass... I'm saying nightly prayers to every woman who is out there being who they are unapologetically. I feel like she's one of them. You gotta love Nicki." Margot Robbie Fawns on Nicki Minaj's Presence

Although there were many Barbies and Kens that were cast, Margot Robbie is the lead of the said movie. As one would expect, she would be that celebrity that many people would expect to go crazy for, but Nicki Minaj gracing the carpet was the most memorable moment of the evening. Robbie and Minaj posed in front of the camera and played with themselves. The two were even spotted talking and chatting privately while on the carpet shortly after their photos were taken.

"That was iconic. I'm dying. I'm going to have to take a minute later to be like, 'I actually got a picture with Nicki Minaj. That's amazing,'" Robbie told Variety about her meeting with Minaj.

Nicki Minaj is among the artists that were included on the star-studded soundtrack of the film. She and Ice Spice are the people behind the highest-charting single of the project, "Barbie World," which samples the famous song by Aqua, "Barbie Girl."
