When the news of Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner's divorce went viral, fans were shocked, however, what stunned them even further was a statement given by a source, who claimed the "Game of Thrones" star is a party animal.
"She likes to party, he likes to stay at home. They have very different lifestyles," the source told TMZ.
Fans could not believe the statement, and speculate that the source must have been from Jonas' camp, and it is a smear campaign against his wife.
"I wonder what he did that was so bad that he has to get ahead of it and push the 'Sophie Turner is an unfit and bad mother' narrative," an X (formerly Twitter) user wrote.
"I might dislike Sophie Turner but you will never convince me she is a bad mother. She literally didn't do much about her career after '[Game of Thrones]', she focused on her family and now this man is telling me she likes to party when he is doing a literal WORLD TOUR??? dude you trippin'."
"Painting her as a bad mother when she put her career on hold to be the stay-at-home mother to his kids while he kept on working....oh that's just vile," another added.
Jonas is currently on tour with the Jonas Brothers for their "Five Albums. One Night. The World Tour," which succeeded the band's Las Vegas residency back in February.
Joe Jonas, Sophie Turner Headed For Divorce
According to reports, Jonas had officially filed for divorce from the "Dark Phoenix" actress; they will be co-parenting the two children they share.
Reports also noted how the singer said that their marriage is "irretrievably broken," but did not elaborate further.
Fans were surprised, given that Turner has been very supportive of Jonas' music career, especially during his tour alongside his brothers, Nick Jonas and Kevin Jonas.
The latest Instagram post the actress has on her feed is from one of the Jonas Brothers' shows; she attended and shared pictures from backstage as well as loving pictures with Jonas.

According to Billboard, the couple first met when the singer slid into Turner's Instagram DMs in 2016. They dated for several years before eventually getting engaged.
"I think once you've found the right person, you just know. I feel like I'm much older a soul than I am in age," Turner said following the engagement.
"I feel like I've lived enough life to know. I've met enough guys to know - I've met enough girls to know. I don't feel 22. I feel like 27, 28."
In 2019, the couple got married in Las Vegas by an Elvis Presley impersonator. They tied the knot once again a few months later in southern France.
By 2020, they welcomed their first daughter, Willa, followed by their second daughter in 2022.
