Liza Minnelli has allegedly decided to step away from the limelight and live in seclusion.

Although she seldom leaves her home, the daughter of Judy Garland still holds out hope for one last farewell performance.

The National Enquirer reported on the peaceful lifestyle of Liza, 77, detailing how she was taking the time to understand herself better.

An insider revealed that Liza "doesn't leave home much anymore" and is content with her canine companions, collection of films, and recollection of memories in her abode. This living situation has presented an ideal opportunity for Liza to dedicate quality time to self-improvement.

Throughout her career, Liza had dedicated her life to pleasing others.

However, the insider affirmed that now was the time for her to concentrate on herself. Unlike her vibrant persona, those close to her revealed that her day-to-day activities were notably more tranquil while performing.

An anonymous source indicated that the singer-actress is eager to perform one last time before departing from her illustrious career. She is adamant about putting on a show, no matter what it takes - even while in a wheelchair.

Despite the fears of her friends, Liza Minnelli is still ready and eager to make her return to the stage. An insider reported that the she is "very much looking forward to performing again," which was echoed by her representative.

Radar Online had previously shared news regarding potential dementia issues for Liza Minnelli.

At the end of June, sources close to her revealed that a nurse was providing continuous care for her at home in Los Angeles. Reports also suggested that her mental state had worsened in recent months.

Those close to Liza have noticed that her behavior is concerning.

From fidgeting and trembling hands to having difficulty staying focused, it's been a struggle for her to interact with others.

In March 2022, Liza publicly appeared as a presenter at that year's Academy Awards. However, when she stepped out for dinner six months later, in September 2022, many were taken aback by her sudden deterioration.

Her weakened state was such that two individuals were required to help keep her standing.

Audiences were stunned as Liza, well-loved for her iconic work in the music industry, fumbled through her lines while presenting Best Picture alongside Lady Gaga.

The famed singer was quick to come to the rescue of the legendary artist, lending a hand with great empathy.

The Oscars were meant to be a momentous occasion for Liza, as she rarely goes out anymore; however, the night didn't turn out as expected.

Instead of being seated in a producer's chair like she was promised, Liza had to be brought out in a wheelchair - something she wanted desperately to avoid due to not wanting people to remember her that way.

Still, it is prudent to approach this report with a healthy dose of skepticism.
