If Kris Jenner waved a nice big, fat check in front of you would you take it? Well apparently that's exactly what happened to French Montana since he began dating Khloe Kardashian. Of course to hear the rapper tell it he is simply involved in Khloe's life so it makes sense for him to be filmed as well. The reality is that Kris wheeled-and-dealed with French and after they came to terms she simply informed E! what he was to be paid for appearing on the upcoming Kourtney and Khloe Take The Hamptons.
The network is said to be less than thrilled with French's deal because usually when someone new is brought into a cast of any kind it means that someone was fired to make financial room in the budget. Instead Kris and French agreed on a dollar amount and E! Was expected to figure out the budget without letting any other cast member go. There is also quite a bit of speculation surrounding French's relationship with Khloe and whether or not the extra dollar signs are what's keeping him on the hook.
French Montana had obviously made his mark in music long before he began running with the Kardashian Klan but if he is an even half-intelligent businessman then he knows that Kris makes cold hard cash appear out of nowhere. If she could make all of her children famous in spite of the fact that they have no real identifiable talent, well then just think of all that she can do for a guy like French! Plus she has been looking for new ways to try and salvage the finally-crumbling Kardashian empire and the wisest thing that Kris can do right now is to find a career lifeline to pull her out of that wreckage that is inevitably coming.
