Cher has finally worked up the strength to recount her extraordinary life story in an upcoming memoir.

The 77-year-old "Believe" singer confessed that she initially hesitated to include parts of her personal life as she wasn't quite ready for the world to know them.

However, she's since come around and is set on making her tell-all full of juicy details.

During a guesting on "The Tonight Show," Cher exposed her lack of courage.

"I just didn't work up the nerve," she admitted. "There were certain elements that I left out, and they are not comfortable for me, but they must be added, so I'm going to have to suck it up and get it done."

In 2017, the Grammy-winning artist revealed she waswere working on a memoir. "When finished, it will be quite a substantial book."

Cher joked about it being an encyclopedia, noting, "I've lived too long and done too much for it to be anything less." Jokingly, they added, "Not that you guys know what that is."

When enquired about the title of her project, Cher revealed that she had yet to decide on one.

Jimmy Fallon then suggested a few ideas, such as "I Got Scoops, Babe" and "Over-Cher-Ing," to which Cher responded by gently shaking her head and closing her eyes.

Giving Cher his approval to include him in the book, Fallon caused her to laugh. "If it's a big book," he jokingly declared.

In August, the "Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again" star had shared with The Hollywood Reporter that she was nearing completion of her project.

Cher revealed that HarperCollins had been asking how much longer her work would take, but she insisted they were close to finishing. "It's hard to answer," she said, "but we're nearly there."

Cher's Thanksgiving Performance Mishap

Cher added some extra holiday cheer to the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade this year, though her performance drew more criticism than applause.

The 77-year-old showed no signs of slowing down as she sang her new song, "DJ Play a Christmas Song" - though many who watched were left feeling let down by what appeared to be lip-syncing.

Bringing the 97th annual parade to a close, Cher stood out in her dazzling white coat and black leather pants.

She had accessorized the ensemble with a bright black tie, crisp white shirt, and shining gold jewelry. It was not just her wardrobe that gained fans' attention, though.

Cher's performance caused a stir on the internet when viewers noticed that, even though the singer moved her microphone away from her face momentarily, the words to the song kept playing.

Fans took their grievances to X, formerly known as Twitter, with one person noting, "Cher almost forgot she was lip-syncing while taking off her coat."

Another fan added: "Cher lip-syncing doesn't match the music."
