Reba McEntire sparked engagement rumors following her recent public appearance.

On Monday, December 4, McEntire turned people's heads when she dominated the red carpet of "The Voice." Aside from her ageless look, she caught everyone's attention with the massive diamond on her ring finger.

Reba McEntire Sets the Record Straight

In her interview with Entertainment Tonight, McEntire answered the question about whether she is now engaged.

According to the country singer, she did not receive it from her boyfriend, Rex Linn. Instead, she wore it after finding the old piece of jewelry.

When asked whether she was already planning a wedding, McEntire dismissed the thought and admitted she only tried to get people talking.

"I told Leslie 'Imma put something over here, just let everybody talk about it,'" she shared.

McEntire soon removed the ring before returning to her chair to begin taping for the show.

She was previously married to Charlie Battles from 1976 to 1987 and Narvel Blackstock from 1989 to 2015. She also dated Anthony Lasuzzo before finding her new beau.

Although Linn has yet to pop the question, she revealed that her door to say "I do" again remains open.

"I said [to him], 'If you want to that's fine with me.' I've been married twice, he's never been married so if he wants to that's up to him," she told Page Six. "He makes me laugh all the time. That's the best thing about our relationship. We make each other laugh."

When Did Reba McEntire Start Dating Again?

McEntire and Linn met in 1991, but they only started dating in 2020 after reconnecting following his mother's death.

"We kept in contact over the years, we both know the same people," McEntire told, "Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen." "So it was just like good friends getting back together and having dinner ... then we started texting and talking on the telephone and getting to know each other better during the quarantine."

She revealed their status in October 2020 during an episode of her "Living & Learning" podcast.

In April, she gushed about her beau and told Hoda Kotb that Linn is a great guy to be in love with. It resonated with what she shared with people in October 2022 regarding her partner being the love of her life.

"We're professionals. We have our stuff together, we show up on time, we're ready. We're not holding up anybody because time is money on the TV set," she went on.
