Theobald Brooks Lengyel, popularly known by his nickname Theo, was a former member of the popular group Mr. Bungle and the Bay Are police have reportedly identified him as a "person of interest" in a missing persons case involving his partner; read below to find out the full details.

According to the SF Gate, his girlfriend, Alice "Alyx" Kamakaokalani Herrmann, has been missing for a while now. Her last whereabouts was in Santa Cruz, California, in December 3.

Two weeks later, her family reported her missing as she never had any communication with them for a while. During the investigation process, authorities found her red 2007 Toyota Highlander vehicle parked in front of Lengyel's residence in El Cerrito, California.

Theo Lengyel Has Yet to Cooperate With Officials

Later in the report, it was noted that the musician has "not cooperated" with the investigation since he was first contacted.

According to a statement by the El Cerrito police department, as obtained by the San Francisco Chronicle, officials said: "Based on his actions, Theo Lengyel is a person of interest in Alice Herrmann's disappearance and has not cooperated with the police investigation."

As of this writing, it's unclear where Lengyel went, but it is believed that he might have traveled to Portland, Oregon.

Investigators and authorities are currently teaming up with the Capitola and Portland police to look for any evidence that would be helpful for the case.

Theo Lengyel has been a part of Mr. Bungle since its conception in 1985 and he was considered to be one of the founding members.

Throughout his time with the group, he played the clarinet, saxophone, and keyboards.

In a previous interview, his former bandmate Trevor Dunn revealed that the reason why they decided to let him go from the band was because they were on bad terms.

"He wasn't growing with the rest of the band and we were running out of things for him to do. He got pissed off and I haven't heard from him since," he said in 2005.

Active members include Mike Patton, Trey Spruance, Dunn, Scott Ian, and Dave Lombardo. Some of their famous albums were "Disco Volante" in 1995, "California" in 1999, "The Raging wrath of the Easter Bunny Demo" in 2020, and more.
