What do Selena Gomez and Camila Cabello have in common?

Cabello shared a picture of herself and the "Lose You to Love Me" singer in a tight embrace on her Instagram Story with the caption, "Realest, baddest [sic], loveliest, [Selena Gomez]."

Fans could not help but speculate the pair are working on a collaboration, especially since Gomez is gearing up to release another album soon.

"Oh, they're making a hit," one wrote.

"Let their song cook."

"If the rumored collab turns out to be true, they're about to eat."

"The prettiest Latinas in the game. Yup, I said it," another added.

Gomez and Cabello both happen to be Latinas, and they have both released their fair share of Spanish-language songs, which is why fans think their collab song might be in the Spanish language as well.

Selena Gomez Retiring From Music Soon?

Gomez has been hinting that she is working on another album for months now, although she did not specify when it will be released.

Last year, she ended her radio silence in the music scene with her first single in nearly a year, "Single Soon."

Gomez has been focusing more on her acting career and her make-up brand, Rare Beauty, which is why it came as no surprise when she announced that she plans to retire after releasing one last album.

"I do feel like I have one more album in me but I would probably choose acting," she said during her appearance on the "SmartLess" podcast.

"I am going to want to chill because I'm tired. I wanted to be an actress, I never really intended on being a singer full-time but apparently that hobby turned into something else."

Gomez started as an actress; she was cast in the kids show "Barney" when she was a child before moving to the Disney Channel when she was a teen.

"I don't think I'm the best singer but I do know how to tell stories and I love being able to make songs," she added.
