The Golden Globe Awards is one of the biggest parties in all of Hollywood during the awards season. Usually, it's the lighter and more informal awards show compared to the main event - the academy awards.

The rare Hollywood outing gathers A-listers from the film, television, and even the music industry, and people could bump into almost everyone, from Meryl Streep to Jodie Foster, to Taylor Swift!

Jennifer Lopez Inspired Brie Larson To Acting

Last evening, Brie Larson was being interviewed by Entertainment Tonight's Kevin Frazier when she suddenly lost her composure.

"I just try to be as present as possible because it's the chance of a lifetime," Larson said moments before seeing Jennifer Lopez. "You're just surrounded by legends everywhere you look [...] it's hard to go 'I'm not in a dream.' I mean, I'm in my dream and I'm living my dream."

Jennifer Lopez, who was meters away from Larson, made her way toward her as she crossed the other side of the carpet.

Larson was candid on her reaction upon seeing that J.Lo. was approaching: "Oh my god, I'm going to cry. I can't deal with JLo. I'm going to cry." She then broke down into tears when J.Lo. stood beside her.

"You mean so much to me. I'm such a huge fan," she told Lopez endearingly. "I saw 'Selena' and it made me want to be an actor. You've always meant so much to me. It's been a dream of mine so thank you so much. Your work ethic is so important."

Lopez, who was also equally emotional, thanked her: " "How sweet is that? I'm going to cry," . It's amazing when she brought up the movie 'Selena,' you know, so many years later it still touches people. It's very moving to me too."

Jennifer Lopez Inspired By THIS Actor To Pursue Acting

For the "On The Floor" singer, that moment with Brie Larson was also a full circle moment. Apparently, she was inspired then by Rita Moreno when she watched her in "West Side Story."

"I remember being a little girl and watching 'West Side Story' and Rita Moreno changing my life," she remembered. "So to have someone say to me, 'I watched 'Selena' and it made me want to be an actress' it's so moving. It's like your dreams came true and it's such a beautiful thing."

Brie Larson was nominated for Best Actress in a Miniseries or Television Film for "Lessons in Chemistry," losing to Ali Wong. Lopez, on the other hand, was present at the Golden Globe Awards to accompany her husband, Ben Affleck, who was a presenter.
