• Odd Future Isn't Breaking Up According To Tyler, The Creator

    Last night, Tyler, The Creator got super sentimental while looking through old Odd Future pictures and shared some of those emotions on Twitter because that's what you do now. As he was reminiscing, it appeared that the 'Cherry Bomb' rapper let slip that his collective had broken up when he stated, "although its no more, those 7 letters are forever." Unaware of the consequences of saying something like that in public, Tyler went to sleep thinking everything was all right, when in fact, fans were convinced that Odd Future was finished. He woke up this morning and saw all of the headlines and online activity. He tried to clear things up by saying that people shouldn't read into his comments, he was simply looking over some old pictures with friends.

    Late last year, Lil B teased a collaboration with Frank Ocean, and although music from the two has yet to surface, the Based God did contribute to Ocean's forthcoming magazine, Boys Don't Cry, which is due out in July. Nabil Elderkin shared a photo on Instagram of the Oakland rapper with the caption, "That's a Rap wit the sensei @lilbisgod what a bro!" which probed the Fader to ask whether or not the director had shot a Lil B video. Nabil replied their inquiry, revealing that Ocean had interviewed the Based God for his magazine. Elderkin did, however, add that he would "def" do a video with Lil B if the opportunity came up, calling him a "cool bro."

    On Jan. 16, treasured R&B/soul singer Aaliyah would have turned 36, and to honor her life, Frank Ocean covered the One In A Million singer's rendition of "At Your Best (You Are Love)," an Isley Brothers track from 1976 that was covered by Aaliyah in 1994. Frank Ocean took to his active Tumblr account to share the stripped-down and soulful cover. The Channel Orange singer dishes a moving falsetto, which he titles "You Are Luhh," that is a fitting tribute to the R&B singer who was taken from us too soon.
