    The 2014 lineup for Governors Ball Music Festival was revealed this morning in a New York Times advertisement. The three-day festival takes place June 6-8 at Randall's Island Park in New York City.

    Jack White hit the studio again in 2013 to record with The Dead Weather for their new singles series that will lead up to the release of a full album in 2015. Now, White has also confirmed the release of a follow up to his 2012 debut solo album, Blunderbuss.

Pretty meta, right?
  • The Dead Weather To Put Out a Series of Singles Before Releasing Full-Length Album

    The Dead Weather announced in late August that they were back in the studio. Today Third Man Records announced what the band has planned. According to the press releases, Jack White, Alison Mosshart, Dean Fertita and Jack Lawrence will record and release two new songs on 7" vinyl as part of a singles release series. The band will do this in sets of two until 2015 at which time they will release a full-length album containing the previously released singles as well as "many more album-only tracks."

White seems to dispute how out of line his ex-wife claims him to be, but new details have confirmed one thing: The story about White not wanting his children to attend a particular school just because one of his "rival's" children went there are totally true. E-mails released on Friday show that the "rival" in question is Black Keys guitarist Dan Auerbach.
