  • Seattle Police release note in which Kurt Cobain calls Courtney Love a 'b*tch with zits'

As previously reported, Seattle police reopened the cold case of Kurt Cobain's death in honor of its 20th anniversary. The investigation yielded the same conclusion: Cobain committed suicide. However, the department decided to develop and release 35 unseen photographs from the scene in hopes that it would quell conspiracy theories.
  • Seven Singers Who Should Be Replacing Kurt Cobain: PJ Harvey, Lemmy, and more

At tonight's Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony, the surviving members of Nirvana will be performing with Joan Jett on lead vocals. Jett will probably do a fine job, but I doubt that she was their first choice to replace Kurt Cobain for the night. Here are seven singers who should have at least been considered to sing for Nirvana at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony.
  • Dave Grohl and Krist Novoselic reminisce about Nirvana on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon [WATCH]

Nirvana will be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame tonight. In anticipation, Dave Grohl and Krist Novoselic stopped by The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon last night. While they didn't perform on the episode, they sat down with Fallon to reminisce about their time playing in Nirvana.
  • Eight Incredible Bands (Other Than Nirvana) to Come Out of the Pacific NW: Modest Mouse, Sleater-Kinney, and more

In celebration of the life of Kurt Cobain (whose tragic suicide occurred 20 years ago this Saturday), we’ve compiled a short list of the top bands to come out of the Pacific Northwest music scene that Nirvana helped bring to the world’s attention. In no particular order, here are eight incredible bands (other than Nirvana) to come out of the Pacific Northwest.
  • 8 Artists Who Would Make For Interesting Musicals: Springsteen, Bowie, and more

Even though a musical based on his songs is probably the last thing he ever wanted, the music of Kurt Cobain is coming to Broadway, apparently. Nirvana's music is excellent, but if I were in charge of selecting a catalog of songs to adapt into a musical, Nirvana would be towards the bottom of my list. Here's who would be at the top:
  • Potential Kurt Cobain musical on Broadway not a sick April Fools joke

This, sadly, is not a joke: Courtney Love has ideas for a potential Kurt Cobain musical. We unfortunately report that rumors of a Kurt Cobain-themed musical are not an April Fool's joke.
  • Morrison Hotel Gallery presents exhibit on Kurt Cobain, marking the 20th anniversary of the Nirvana singer's death [PHOTOS]

The Morrison Hotel Gallery, known for showcasing fine art music photography across the country, has partnered with New York City's Dream Downtown hotel to present an exhibit on Kurt Cobain. Photographer Jesse Frohman will launch his tribute to the artist with a collection of photographs he took of the late Nirvana singer, shortly before his death 20 years ago.
  • Seattle police department releases 35 new photos from Kurt Cobain’s death scene [PHOTOS]

Earlier this month, the Seattle Police Department reopened Kurt Cobain's death case ahead of its 20th anniversary. After reexamining the evidence, there was nothing to suggest Cobain's death was caused by anything other than suicide. In hopes to end conspiracy theories, the department released a pair of newly developed photos from the scene last week. Today, they've shared an additional 35 images.
  • Bluewater Productions releasing a Kurt Cobain biography in comic book form

A slew of Kurt Cobain tributes have come forth due to the approaching 20th anniversary of Kurt Cobain's, including uncomfortable looking statues in his hometown of Aberdeen, WA. The newest addition to the list is the "Kurt Cobain" entry into the Tribute series from Bluewater Productions, a comic book publisher. The publication will be available starting April 2, the anniversary of Cobain's death.
  • WATCH: Kurt Cobain, Tupac Shakur and Elvis come back to life in weird Dutch beer commercial

There are a lot of conspiracies out there in the world. The Americans never landed on the moon, Nessie is out there floating in Loch Ness, Elvis/Tupac Shakur/Marilyn Monroe and more never really died and are drinking crappy Dutch beer on a deserted island...
  • Seattle Police Department reopens Kurt Cobain's death case, according to local news station

The musical death(s) most popular for conspiracy theorists in the last few decades have been those of the Notorious B.I.G. and Tupac Shakur, although things are about to heat up quite a bit for those who believe Kurt Cobain's death was more-murder-less-suicide. The Seattle Police Department has reopened the case, according to the city's KIRO 7 news team.
