• Bad Habits: Lady Gaga, Nicki Minaj, Gwen Stefani and More Performers with Nun Imagery in Music Videos

Fifty years ago featured a very special guest appearance on NBC's Tarzan, as The Supremes stopped by. Fortunately even network executives and scriptwriters in those days weren't dumb enough to put the Motown stars in potentially offensive roles so the trio of vocalists was cast as a group of nuns. It was, in short, the most politically correct portrayal of nuns on this side of The Sound of Music. Many musicians have donned habits for music videos and very few of them took as kindly to the sisterhood as NBC did.
  • Classic Music Artists Who Have Made The Jump to Children's Literature: Paul McCartney, Madonna, David Bowie and More

Danny Brown surprised us, or at least those familiar with his foul mouth, by revealing that he was in the process of writing a Dr. Seuss-style children's book aiming to encourage black girls to appreciate themselves while promoting self-esteem. The emcee is hardly the first established musician to try his hand at children's literature, although usually those handling the pen could also live off their royalties forever so they have time to experiment with new things. Here are seven of the biggest musicians in recent memory that have taken time from their career of performing for adults to wrote for kids.
  • 8 Artists with At Least 8 No. 1 Albums: Ranking The Octopping Albums from Elvis Presley, The Beatles, Jay Z and More

Fifty years ago on this day Elvis Presley released Roustabout, a soundtrack for the film of the same title, starring the performer. It was his eighth no. 1 album, an extension of his record for most albums atop the Billboard 200 by one artist (which would soon be surpassed for good by The Beatles). Interestingly enough, only eight acts have had at least eight albums top the American charts. We at Music Times decided to find out each of those acts' no. 8 no. 1 and measure them up against each other.
  • Madonna & Miley Cyrus Sharing Weird Love on Instagram: 'Rebel Heart' Singer and 'Bangerz' Star Swapping Photo Manips on Social Media

In a recent Instagram post, Madonna claimed that she has love for all female artists and that there is room for everybody in the vast world of entertainment. But, lately, it seems as thought the Rebel Heart singer has been showing one modern pop megastar a little more love than some others. Yes, Madonna has joined Miley Cyrus in the world of weird Instagram, with the two chanteuses slinging love and weird photo manipulations back and forth at each other.
  • Grammys 2015: AC/DC, Madonna, U2 Rumored to Perform at Show in February

The highlight of this year's Grammys might come in the form of older acts. Rumors have surfaced that AC/DC, U2 and Madonna have all been tapped to perform at the awards show Feb. 8. This would make complete sense since those three acts have or are working on new albums: AC/DC with "Rock or Bust," U2 with "Songs of Innocence" and Madonna with "Rebel Heart." Hits Daily Double first reported the rumors — it is the same source that said AC/DC is in the frontrunning to headline Coachella. No other information was given, but considering the diversity of the three and the show's tradition of booking young and seasoned performers, this is looking pretty plausible. AC/DC would certainly liven up the show. Last year, Paul McCartney, Metallica and Daft Punk were just a few of the performers to take the stage at the Grammys. McCartney and Ringo Starr were honored at a separate show highlighting The Beatles's 50th anniversary of playing "The Ed Sullivan Show." U2's "Songs of Innocence" was given away to iTunes users in September. The band partnered with Apple for the surprise release. Bono and the boys released a limited vinyl edition of the album for sale later, making the effort eligible for the Grammys.
  • Madonna's "Two Steps Behind" Not About Lady Gaga, Manager Says - 'Rebel Heart' Singer is a Fan

Dealing with leaked music isn't fun for artists. After months of working on songs and waiting to release them, a singer has to figure out a Plan B. Madonna is the most recent artist to suffer from leaks, causing her to make certain tracks available well in advance of the release date. Her recent demo to surface, "Two Steps Behind," has been labeled a diss track toward Lady Gaga by fans. Madonna's manager took to Twitter to address the rumors about the 'Rebel Heart' track.
  • 14 More Madonna Songs Leak from 'Rebel Heart': Pharrell Collab Included

More bad news for Madonna. Another 14 tracks have leaked from her back catalog, ones that will presumably go toward her upcoming studio album "Rebel Heart." This comes just a week after 13 unfinished demos were leaked online. In response to the steady stream of leaks, the queen of pop released a six-track EP for paid download on iTunes with finished, polished tunes like "Bitch I'm Madonna" with Nicki Minaj and Kanye West, as well as collaborations with the likes of Diplo.
  • Madonna Talks 'Rebel Heart' Leak, Grammy Award Performance, "Living For Love," Working With Diplo, And More

Following the leak of more than 10 unreleased demo recordings, Madonna and her team have been working day-in and day-out to try to recover the stolen songs. The songs were from sessions for her upcoming 13th studio album, which at the time had yet to be announced and is still unfinished. To combat the damage of the stolen work, Madonna sped up the official release of new music. She announced that her new album, Rebel Heart, would drop March 10 through Interscope Records and made six of its tracks immediately available for purchase. Among them was the Diplo-produced "Living For Love," the album's lead single, which according to Billboard wasn't supposed to premiere until Valentines Day.
