    According to a new interview with Wu Tang Clan leader RZA, we can thank the success of 2015's Straight Outta Compton for possibly moving the long gestating Ol' Dirty Bastard biopic movie into pre-production. Yes, we've been hearing about this film project for quite some time, but with the NWA biopic and also All Eyez on Me, the Tupac Shakur movie, in the works, it sounds like RZA and company are ready to move forward with it finally.

Now the publisher has announced a series of 50 comic book covers featuring tributes to classic hip-hop album covers. The first ten were released online this week.

    Wu-Tang Clan will drop its sixth studio album, A Better Tomorrow, on Dec. 2, but anxious fans can stream the record now on YouTube. It's been seven years since RZA, Ghostface Killah and Method Man all collaborated on an album (2007's 8 Diagrams). Despite feuding between leaders Raekwon and RZA, the group managed to work out its problems and finish the album, releasing the singles "Ruckus in B Minor," "Ron O'Neal," "Keep Watch" and "Necklace" previously.

    If you were looking forward to that Joni Mitchell/Carole King/Carly Simon biopic "Girls Like Us," then today, Nov. 25, you are out of luck. In an interview with "The Sunday Times," via "NME," Joni Mitchell revealed that she has pulled the plug on the project, citing the casting of Taylor Swift as one of the primary reasons. "I squelched that!" Mitchell admitted. "I said to the producer, 'All you've got is a girl with high cheekbones.' It's just a lot of gossip, you don't have the great scenes." "There's a lot of nonsense about me in books," Mitchell went on to say, "assumptions, assumptions, assumptions." The now-halted film was based on the book "Girls Like Us" by Sheila Weller, which followed the rise of Mitchell and her singer-songwriter contemporaries Carly Simon and Carole King during the 1970s. Swift was cast as Mitchell back in 2012, with "Mad Men's" Jessica Pare cast as Simon and "The Newsroom's" Alison Pill cast as King.

    The Wu-Tang Clan's upcoming studio album "A Better Tomorrow" will not be out for another month, but the legendary hip-hop crew has shared another one of the album's singles, which you can check out below. Titled "Ruckus in B Minor," the new single is the opening track to A Better Tomorrow and is likely a reference to their classic "Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers)" opener "Bring Da Ruckus." They have also revealed the album's tracklist. The late Ol' Dirty Bastard makes a posthumous appearance in the song's introduction, which is followed by verses from Inspectah Deck, U-God, Cappadonna, Ghostface Killah and GZA, as well as bridges from Method Man and RZA.
