• Lorde Teams Up With HAIM, Stromae, Pusha T & Q-Tip On 'Meltdown' from The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Pt.1 Soundtrack [LISTEN]

The tracks just keep on coming from The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1 soundtrack. This time it is Lorde's collaboration with HAIM, Stromae, Pusha T and Q-Tip that has surfaced on the web, showcasing the dynamism that is on the soundtrack. The variety of artists on the song, HAIM, Pusha T, Q-Tip, Stromae and Lorde would normally make for an odd mix, but it works quite well.
  • Lorde Covers Jeremih's 'Don't Tell 'Em' for BBC [WATCH]

Lorde has proven herself to be a big fan of R&B and hip-hop, having covered Kanye West's "Flashing Lights" in concert and cutting a song with Stromae, Pusha T and Q-Tip for the upcoming "Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1" soundtrack. For her performance on BBC Radio 1's "Live Lounge," the "Royals" singer once again flaunted her love of those genres by performing a cover of Jeremih's recent hit "Don't Tell 'Em," which you can check out below. "I have basically been a really big fan of this song since I first started hearing it around," Lorde told BBC, via "Pitchfork." "I love the vocal melodies. I think they're really smart and just consider them cool. It's quite a saucy song or something and I think it would be interesting to flip the dynamic and make that power mine." You can check out Lorde's cover of Jeremih's "Don't Tell 'Em" here:
  • Lorde Enlists Kanye West, Haim, Charli XCX for 'Hunger Games' Soundtrack

Back in September, it was reported that Lorde and Kanye West were working on some new music together, and today we have learned why. "Consequence of Sound" reports that Kanye has provided a remix of Lorde's "Yellow Flicker Beat" for the soundtrack to the upcoming "Hunger Games" movie, which Lorde has curated. Other artists appearing on the soundtrack include Charli XCX, Haim, Bat for Lashes, Pusha T, Q-Tip and CHVRCHES.
  • Back of The Billboards: 'Ke'Ke'' by Keke Wyatt

Society always celebrates the records that top the Billboard 200 album chart. Back of The Billboards is a Music Times weekly segment that looks at the opposite end: the new record that finished closest to the back of the Billboard 200 for the previous week. We hope to give a fighting chance to the bands you haven't heard of.
  • Rumors of Clipse Reunion Swirl After Studio Photos Posted

Reports have surfaced today that Clipse, the Virginia Beach rap duo consisting of brother Pusha T and No Malice, will be reuniting for a new album during 2014. We can't emphasize enough how unconfirmed these rumors are, but it's worth getting at least mildly excited about.
  • Caitlin Carter's Playlist of 2013: Eminem, Paul McCartney, and Rich Homie Quan

Music Times, like so many other music publications, was looking to publish a "Best of 2013" playlist. We met to discuss what such a playlist should include, and that's where we ran into trouble. We couldn't agree. Sometimes two of us just couldn't agree on whether the performer was amazing or terrible, and even when we agreed they were amazing, we couldn't agree on what track was most representative of their work. Hence it was decided that rather than try to agree (a seemingly impossible endeavor), everyone would get their own "favorites of 2013" playlist. We won't argue that these are neccesarily the best tracks of the last year, but they're definitely songs that caught our respective attention and caused us to hit 'repeat" over and over and over again
  • 2 Chainz and Pusha T Announce Tour for 2014

Even if you've missed out on the chance to pick up tickets for Kanye West's "Yeezus" tour, you can still check out a pair of his G.O.O.D Music label-mates when they embark on a tour of their own during January. 2 Chainz will headline and Pusha T will provide main support on the "2 Good to be T.R.U." tour.
  • Linkin Park Releases Remix Set Featuring Pusha T, Rick Ross, Bun B and More

New music isn't coming from Linkin Park anytime soon. Vocalist Chad Bennington is currently shacking up with the Stone Temple Pilots to create a new record and tour, and LP isn't looking to bring anyone else in, so fans will have to look forward to Recharged, an album containing remixed versions of the tracks on the band's 2012 LP Living Things.
  • Pusha T Featured in New Track From Brother and Clipse Member No Malice

The forthcoming solo debut from rapper Pusha T, "My Name Is My Name," isn't enough for rap fans to forget how great Pusha was when he recorded as Clipse with his brother, No Malice. No Malice had a spiritual conversion following the release of the duo's last album, "'Til The Casket Drops," and Jesus didn't quite mesh with the hustler narratives weaved by Clipse. Pusha went to Kanye West's G.O.O.D. Music label and Malice began pursuing his own solo project, an album titled "Hear Ye Him." The first track from that record, "Shame On The Devil" was shared on Funkmaster Flex's website Wednesday.
