• 'RHOA's' Apollo Nida Claims That Phaedra Parks Was Cheating Before He Went to Prison

The season of The Real Housewives of Atlanta that's currently airing is giving fans a front row seat to watch the unraveling of Phaedra Parks' marriage to Apollo Nida. It's one thing to hear rumors of him threatening to burn down their family before he ultimately turned himself in to begin serving a long prison sentence, it's another to actually see the felon in action. There have been moments in recent weeks when Parks appeared afraid of Nida, but none like on last nights' episode when she and her sons fled their home.
  • 'RHOA' Phaedra Parks Reveals That Apollo Nida Destroyed Property, Threatened to Burn House Down

Most of the footage currently being shown on "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" was filmed before Phaedra Parks's husband Apollo Nida began serving an eight-year jail sentence for fraud. The scenes with the two of them together at times have been just plain scary. Nida had real issues with Parks not supporting him as he prepared for jail and she had problems with him turning back into a criminal that she could not count on. When she did suffer through a conversation with him, Nida seemed to be calmly threatening her. Parks also revealed that Nida destroyed property and threatened to burn their house down.
  • Sony Will Release 'The Interview' in Theaters, on VOD

If you are one of the growing number of people who wanted to see "The Interview" simply to defy North Korea's attempt to block its distribution, then it looks like you are in luck. Sony is reportedly gearing up to announce that the film, which was canceled a few days ago, will see the light of day. The plan as of now is to release the film in participating theaters as well as through video on demand simultaneously. The list of distributors is expected to be released at some point today, with theaters in both Atlanta and Austin, Texas, already on board to show the film. Talks between Sony and Dish Network reportedly fell apart over the weekend, and other possible distributors have expressed concern over the possibility of also being hacked if they agreed to show the film.
  • Is the United States to Blame for North Korea's Internet Being Completely Crashed?

It looks like the United States might be giving North Korea a taste of their own medicine. The country's state-run internet began experiencing connectivity issues over the weekend and now according to various news outlets it has been completely down for about three hours now. This development comes on the heels of the FBI confirming that North Korea is responsible for the hacking of Sony that has lead to a business crisis of epic proportions for the company.
  • Due to Pressure, Sony Will Eventually Release 'The Interview'

It is kind of amazing how divided the United States is over racial issues, law enforcement and good ol' political agendas, but when a film studio gets hacked, it is fairly easy to get everyone on the same page — and quickly! Sony canceled everything in connection with its film "The Interview" last week, fearing that the group that has successfully hacked the company would make good on its threats of violence. Once it was confirmed that North Korea was responsible for the large security breech, the studio decided not to take any unnecessary risks and even the White House disagreed with the decision. First, Hollywood as a whole chimed in collectively, not wanting to feel like its business was being controlled by Kim Jong Un's regime. Then political leaders such as U.S. Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., and Newt Gingrich started rallying for the film's release. By this morning, Dec. 22, Sony started contemplating exactly what the best way to release "The Interview" might be. While the logical possibility was either video on demand or Netflix, some other companies might be more than a little skittish, fearing that they, too, will be hacked.
  • Rosie O'Donnell Threatened to Quit 'The View' After On-Air Blowout with Whoopi

Last Thursday, Dec. 18, Rosie O'Donnell and Whoopi Goldberg had their worst clash so far on "The View." What began as a discussion about how racism is actively affecting everyday life in the U.S. turned into a shouting match with Goldberg insisting that O'Donnell had no idea what true racism really is. Of course her statements were met with complete disagreement, and it was downhill from there. Apparently things were even worse behind the scenes, and once O'Donnell heard the conversation going on off-camera, she threatened to walk. According to a report by Radar Online, O'Donnell heard the staff discussing doing a split-screen between her and Goldberg and flipped: "Rosie heard several staffers talking about using a split screen if the fighting continued when taping resumed. Rosie went absolutely ballistic, pointing out that was the reason she had quit the first time. Racism is a very serious subject, and Rosie felt that the staff of the show was trying to exploit it for ratings. Whoopi and Rosie aren't even pretending to like each other on the air. It won't be the last time they spar. Needless to say, the crew is looking forward to the Christmas break. Both of them are acting extremely immature."
  • North Korea Speaks of 'Merciless Punishment' in New Threats Targeting the U.S.

Back in 2008, North Korea was officially removed from the U.S.'s list of state sponsors of terrorism after spending two decades of being listed on it. Thanks to the fallout from the Sony hacking and due to the fact that the FBI has confirmed that it was indeed North Korea that was behind the huge breech in security, our government is now pondering whether or not to put the nation back onto that list.
  • NYC Premiere of 'The Interview' Canceled After 9/11-Type Threats; Homeland Security Investigates

The Sony hacking scandal just keeps getting more complicated each day, and what seemingly began as a plot to embarrass some of the studio's top brass is really beginning to cut into business. "The Interview," slated for an official Christmas Day release and starring Seth Rogen and James Franco, is about a plot to kill North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, and this one film seems to be at the center of the turmoil. The hackers, officially dubbed as the shady Guardians of Peace, are going out of their way to scare the studio into shelving this film, and their tactics seem to be working. Rogen and Franco have canceled various promotional interviews in connection with "The Interview" and the film's official New York City premiere, slated for Thursday night, Dec. 18, has been canceled. Why the fear? Well, the GOP issued an ominous statement yesterday, saying in part: "Soon all the world will see what an awful movie Sony Pictures Entertainment has made. The world will be full of fear. Remember the 11th of September 2001. We recommend you to keep yourself distant from the places at that time. (If your house is nearby, you'd better leave.)" The FBI has been pulled into the investigation, and it claims that there has been no chatter that leads them to believe that the direct threats against movie theaters are legitimate, but no one is taking any chances. So far, Carmike Cinemas and Los Angeles's ArcLight Cinemas have canceled screenings of the film. Homeland Security claims to be inching closer toward figuring out not only who is behind the threats, but also what part of the world they are coming from.
  • 'LHHH' Princess Love Threatened Suicide After Ray J Dumped Her, Was Spotted with Karrueche Tran

We almost need a flow chart to keep things straight with the cast of VH1's "Love & Hip Hop Hollywood." In the season finale, which aired last week, it looked like Ray J had dumped his girlfriend of two years, Princess Love, in order to reconnect with Teairra Mari. When the reunion shows aired this week, it was clear Ray and Love were back together, but a bit of drama has gone down this week that led him to call 911, thinking she was going to kill herself. According to a report by TMZ, Ray broke up with Love Tuesday night, Dec. 9, and by Wednesday, Dec. 10, photos of him getting cozy with Karrueche Tran had surfaced. Needless to say, that did not sit well with her and Love reportedly threatened to kill herself. Ray called 911 and had authorities come out to the home he was sharing with Love to perform a welfare check. She was not at home when the police arrived and supposedly called Ray to reassure him she was not really going to shoot herself.
  • New Video Allegedly Shows Ferguson PO Darren Wilson Making Threats to Mike Arman in '13

This is probably the worst time for anything else negative regarding Ferguson Police Officer Darren Wilson to be released to the press, but a new video has leaked depicting his demeanor with a suspect in October 2013 and it is not good. Wilson reportedly showed up on Mike Arman's property to issue a court summons for derelict vehicles. Arman pulls out his cellphone and informs Wilson that he is going to record everything, making it sound like he was already leery of the local police department. In the 15-second clip, you can clearly hear Wilson tell Arman, "If you don't stop taking pictures, I'm gonna lock your ass up." Wilson tells him that he has no right to film him and physically moves the camera. Here is the issue in the police report filed by Wilson: His depiction of the entire incident is basically disproved by the video. Arman was charged with failure to comply until his attorney saw the video. He was also charged with violating pitbull violations, which is a bit funny because the dog was actually a bull dog.
