While Nicki Minaj is used to driving the steering wheel with her rap dominance in the hip-hop scene, she takes the shotgun while James Corden and her sing into her most-loved tracks on the radio.

During the 17 minute clip, Nicki candidly opened up about how her notable confidence plays a huge part in staying at the top of her game.

"I think when I was younger, probably my more natural state was to be more confident. But I think when you are a woman, and you're in the public eye all the time, if you're not careful, you can become less confident because you're being constantly scrutinized," Nicki said.

James Corden also surprised Nicki Minaj after the former brought a clarinet during the ride, an instrument he claimed to have the rapper first started playing when she was still a child.

Minaj, who seemed to have forgotten how to play the wind instrument, cheekily teases the late-night show host by only piping one to two notes.

Corden described the experience with Minaj as "refreshing," maybe because the "Super Bass" hitmaker was almost elusive to interview since the birth of his firstborn, "Papa Bear."

It was also on James Corden's show where Nicki Minaj graced him for an interview to promote her comeback single with Lil Baby, "Do We Have A Problem."
