• OWSLA’s Mija, AKA Amber Giles, Poses for SFW Playboy Photoshoot

    Shortly after dropping her remix of DJ Snake's track "Middle" which appears on OWSLA's Worldwide Broadcast compilation, Phoenix-born and LA-based producer and DJ Amber Giles, better known as Mija, posed for a Playboy photoshoot. The SFW spread, shot by Marya Gullo and styled by Aubrey Kia, features an afternoon in the life of the burgeoning OWSLA artist flaunting her myriad tattoos and pastel turquoise locks while lounging around her LA loft and skating the streets of Downtown LA.

    Sam Vogel, the electronic bass music producer and DJ better known as Jauz, kicked off his Friendzy Tour this past weekend with three sold-out SoCal shows boasting historic back-to-back sets featuring more DJ talent than some festivals do. The first leg of the tour featured guest appearances from Wacka Flocka Flame, Skrillex and Diplo as Jack U, Marshmello, Ookay, Kill the Noise, Dirtyphonics and What So Not among others.

    Vancouver-based producer, DJ and live act Haywyre has released his brand new album Two Fold Pt. 2. The 9-track LP comes features three previously released singles in "Moment," "Endlessly" and the new single "Do You Don't You," which has a distinctly ZHU sound to it. In addition to the album, Haywyre is heading out on tour for the first time in several months, taking along his live set up for shows all across North America.

Airing in the United States on the History Channel, this six-part series is directed by Tom Harper, who brought on his Peaky Blinders collaborator, Martin Phipps, for the show’s all-important score. Weir recently admitted that both Dead & Company, the grateful dead reincarnate super group and RatDog would be making moves in 2016. The long strange trip will continue on through the United States with a highly anticipated 2016 summer tour.
