Now Turk has filed a motion of default against the record label as it failed to reply within the legally required 21 days. -
Bobby Shmurda Speaks From Jail: "I'm Innocent"
Bobby Shmurda, real name Ackquille Pollard, still languishes in jail awaiting trial for a litany of charges relating to his connection to the GS9 crew and their alleged crimes. He has not stayed out of the public eye since then, releasing a few new songs and rapping a few verses via a jailhouse phone. The "Hot Ni*ga" rapper has still remained active with the media, calling into radio stations with his limited phone calls, remaining steadfast in his belief that he is innocent on all accounts. He recently was the subject of a profile by New York Magazine, who spoke to Pollard over a video conference call line normally reserved for lawyers and their clients. -

Attorneys for Robin Thicke and Pharrell Williams are pushing for a retrial in the case of "Blurred Lines" and its similarities to Marvin Gaye's "Got To Give It Up." The original trial wrapped up during March, resulting in more than $7.4 million in payouts for the plaintiffs. Now the duo is suggesting to U.S. District Judge John Krandstadt that they should be given another shot in a courtroom due to errors in jury instruction and "improper testimony" from a musicologist. -

Glastonbury's 2015 lineup hasn't been fully revealed yet, leading many to speculate on what act will close out the music festival's final night, and British daily The Sun reports that its sources indicate The Who will be the final act. Major Lazer Share 'Bass Drop' Featuring Andy Samberg From FXX Cartoon
Major Lazer have unveiled potentially their most surprising collaboration to date -- a new song titled "Bass Drop" featuring the voice of comedian and actor Andy Samberg. The track was created for the most recent episode of Major Lazer's FXX Animation Domination Cartoon and the accompanying music video takes clips from the episode. "Bass Drop" will not appear on the trio's upcoming artist album, 'Peace Is The Mission,' which makes this even more interesting as a song. -
Chris Brown, Deorro 'Five More Hours' Music Video: Breezy, Travi$ Scott Party Bus to Coachella
Chris Brown and Deorro have unveiled the music video for their new collaboration together, "Five More Hours." It starts out with Chris Brown and Travi$ Scott, who is not featured on the track, but plays a prominent role in the clip, driving along a desert road to Coachella in an old convertible. The car has issues and breaks down on the side of the road and before they have to walk down the road, which Scott refuses to do, Deorro arrives driving a party bus filled with young attractive women all headed to Coachella.
