A$AP Rocky just premiered a new single "M's," presumed to be one on his upcoming album 'At.Long.Last.A$AP' today, April 8, on the London leg of the Red Bull Music Academy after he gave a talk. The Da Honorable C.N.O.T.E.- and Mike Dean-produced single has the making of another hit from Rocky, with its haunting synths and horns, sitting on top of a crisp bass line with snare rolls. Rocky employs his deep voice distortion effectively as echoes, while he raps about the pursuit of getting M's, or millions. As one might expect, the track made its way onto the Web and you can hear the rip below. -

This week, like most weeks, is really dragging for me. But Matt and Kim's new album New Glow kind of helped me pep up this morning and get to work. As far as I'm aware, this is a band that's always been infectiously peppy, maybe almost annoyingly so. But, it worked to jump-start my day. The first song, "Hey Now" is such a blast of energy. It's pretty much as effective as coffee. -

Officer Michael Slager Fired After Being Charged With Murder of Unarmed Suspect Walter Scott
Less than 24 hours after a shocking video showing Officer Michael Thomas Slager firing eight shots into the back of an unarmed man went viral, his firing from the police force has been confirmed. Slager claimed that he feared for his life after stopping unarmed Walter Lamar Scott, 50, for driving with a busted tail light last weekend. A bystander saw the altercation between both men and captured video of Scott running away from Slager as he slowly followed him repeatedly firing his weapon. A murder charge was quickly filed against the officer, and protests are planned for later today, April 8, in North Charleston. -

Ludacris has released the music video for the first single "Beast Mode" from his recent artist album 'Ludaversal.' The visuals start off with the "Roll Out" rapper at a press conference fielding ridiculous questions like "Do you still have a midget hanging from your necklace," referencing his 2003 track "Stand Up" and if he has an illegitimate child, an attack on tabloid media. He is joined at the press conference by Seattle Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch, who happens to be nicknamed "Beast Mode" and has a strong dislike for the media and press conferences. -
