The art of freestyling has been diluted in recent years. Artists are reciting pre-rehearsed verses that may appear on future tracks or released freestyles, using aids like iPhones to read off bars or even using unreleased material to pass off as a freestyle. Even with this noted dilution, it is still expected for rappers to make appearances and freestyle on radio shows or at random public appearances and be prepared to spit 16 bars off of the top of their head. An enterprising individual or fan on reddit went through a bunch of his recent freestyles and noticed one disturbing trend - Game has been rapping the same one over the past five years. -
