Jimmy Fallon has announced that U2 will be taking on a weeklong residency at The Tonight Show starting Monday, Nov.17. This appears to be a recent trend on late night shows, considering those very same days, Metallica will be performing a weeklong residency on The Late Late Show With Craig Ferguson and just last month Foo Fighters ran through a weeklong residency on Late Show With Daivd Lettterman. Luckily for U2 and Fallon, the Metallica performances won't overlap as Ferguson's show has a different timeslot. -
Papa Roach, Seether Announce Joint 2015 Tour Dates [FULL SCHEDULE]
Nu-metal veterans Papa Roach have just announced a co-headlining tour with South African rockers Seether, "Billboard" reports, which will stretch for about a month in early 2015. The joint tour kicks off Jan. 9, 2015, in Orlando and finishes Feb. 7 in Las Vegas. Police Searching for Carlesha Freeland-Gaither After Her Philadelphia Abduction Sunday Night Was Captured on Film
Perhaps the most disturbing thing that many of us will see this week is the video of 22-year-old Carlesha Freeland-Gaither being abducted while walking on West Coulter Street a few blocks from her Germantown, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, home. At about 9:40 p.m. Sunday night, Nov. 2, nearby surveillance video caught Freeland-Gaither being snatched from the sidewalk and then dragged down the block kicking and screaming until she was thrown into the backseat of a dark, four-door car. Her abduction was captured on film, and police are searching for her.According to the (New York) "Daily News," a nearby witness heard Freeland-Gaither screaming for help and she was able to kick out the rear driver's and passenger side windows before the car sped off. Authorities believe the suspect was likely driving a dark gray Ford Taurus with Pennsylvania plates. The vehicle was missing inspection stickers and there was an unknown item on the bottom center of the front windshield. -

Former Fleet Foxes drummer Josh Tillman has announced his second Father John Misty album, I Love You, Honeybear. The follow-up to 2012's Fear Fun, the effort is due out Feb. 10 via Sub Pop. Tillman performed a cut from the album, "Bored in the USA," along with a 22-piece string orchestra section last night on The Late Show With David Letterman, his second appearance on the show. -
Freddie Gibbs Shot At in Brooklyn, Two People Injured
Indiana rapper Freddie Gibbs was shot at early this morning, Nov. 4, in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, the "New York Post" reports. The 32-year-old rapper had just finished a performance at Rough Trade Records around 1 a.m. when a gunman ran up to his SUV and fired several shots. Gibbs was unhurt, though two people in his entourage received non-life threatening wounds, with one being hit in the hand and one in the leg, and are in stable condition.Following the shooting, Gibbs reportedly ran back to Rough Trade and spotted the gunman fleeing the crime scene. He has not yet been identified or arrested. -

Wu-Tang Clan Share New Single 'Ruckus in B Minor,' Reveal 'A Better Tomorrow' Tracklist [LISTEN]
The Wu-Tang Clan's upcoming studio album "A Better Tomorrow" will not be out for another month, but the legendary hip-hop crew has shared another one of the album's singles, which you can check out below. Titled "Ruckus in B Minor," the new single is the opening track to A Better Tomorrow and is likely a reference to their classic "Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers)" opener "Bring Da Ruckus." They have also revealed the album's tracklist.The late Ol' Dirty Bastard makes a posthumous appearance in the song's introduction, which is followed by verses from Inspectah Deck, U-God, Cappadonna, Ghostface Killah and GZA, as well as bridges from Method Man and RZA.
