• Has Kim Kardashian Already Met with High-Powered Divorce Attorney Despite Kris Jenner's Opposition?

Being married to Kanye West has to be more than a little bit difficult, and from what we are hearing Kim Kardashian might just be ready to ignore her mother Kris Jenners's advice and throw in the towel. Just a few short weeks after swapping vows in May, West admitted that being married was already a challenge, and it seems that these last few months have only made things rockier between the two. West seemed to send a pretty clear message by leaving the country for Thanksgiving, but as it turns out, Kardashian may have met with a divorce attorney early in November.According to a source for Radar Online, Kardashian had an elevator blocked off so she could meet discreetly with a high-powered Los Angeles divorce attorney. Apparently, Kardashian expects that a split will get messy, and her biggest concern is the inevitable fight for custody of North West. As it is, West is saying that he intends to move to Paris and make it his permanent home beginning early next year. He is planning on bringing his daughter with him even if Kardashian wants to stay behind in L.A.This type of controlling behavior is one of the things that has reportedly driven Kardashian away from West. She assumed that once they were married things would improve, but just like in her two previous marriages, she has learned the hard way that making it legal changes nothing. In fact, if anything she has just made things more difficult. The fallout from her marriage to Kris Humphries was so disastrous that Jenner has reportedly warned her daughter that her career cannot handle another divorce.
  • Mariah Carey Sings 'All I Want for Christmas Is You' Live for Rockefeller Center Special; Twitter Not Impressed [WATCH]

Mariah Carey showed up late for a taping of her 1994 hit "All I Want for Christmas Is You" last night, Dec. 3, for the "Christmas in Rockefeller Center" special. Reports claim that Carey was stuck in a meeting with divorce lawyers, which is why NBC executives decided to let the diva sing the tune live. She did not exactly kill the performance, though, and fans were quick to criticize Carey on Twitter. You can see in the video below that Carey is continuously fiddling with the listening devices in her ears, a classic sign that singers are not "hearing it right." Now, she is celebrating the 20th anniversary of the song, MTV News points out, so it is understandable to miss a few notes. She struggles a little bit with the beginning, but once the backup singers join in, everything is fine. This is not 1990s Carey, but this is not the '90s, either. Kudos to the singer for doing it live anyway. Haters gonna hate.

  • Purity Ring Shares New Song 'Push Pull' from Upcoming Album [LISTEN]

Canadian synthpop duo Purity Ring has shared a new song titled "Push Pull," which you can check out below. Like the previous Purity Ring singles, "Push Pull" is entirely electronic — with the exception of Megan James's vocals, of course — and seems to bridge the gap between indy electronica and Top 40 pop, with a beat that could easily support a verse by Nicki Minaj, if she were so inclined. The track was shared with some animated artwork by Russian artist Renata Raksha, though it is not exactly a music video. • Ryan Gosling Has Been Banned from Having Any Contact with Ex Rachel McAdams by Baby Mama Eva Mendes

Eva Mendes may be curling up with Ryan Gosling at night and sharing parenting duties over baby Esmeralda, but apparently she is not as secure as you would think. All it took was a phone call or two from Gosling's ex Rachel McAdams to bring out Mendes's jealous side and make her fiercely protective of her new family.According to a report by Radar Online, McAdams recently decided to call Gosling to congratulate him on becoming a father, and the conversation turned a bit more personal. Mendes was left with the feeling that McAdams might be hoping to reunite with her former love, and she immediately banned Gosling from having any further contact with her.Gosling and Mendes had been together for a few years and were rumored to have been on a break when she found out she was pregnant. That might be one of the reasons why it took her until almost her third trimester to confirm that she was having a baby. Obviously, Mendes managed to win back her man and she and Gosling seem to have been doing quite well since baby Esmeralda was born a few months ago.

  • J. Cole 2014 Forest Hills Drive Leak: Fans Debate Whether It's Okay To Listen Early

  • Peaceful Protests Erupt All Over NYC After the Grand Jury Decides Not to Indict Daniel Pantaleo in Eric Garner Chokehold Death Case

Almost immediately after it was announced yesterday that NYPD Officer Daniel Pantaleo would not be indicted for the chokehold death of Eric Garner in July on a Staten Island street, the backlash and disbelief began. If you tuned in to any of the news stations, then what you saw was inevitably heated debates between journalists and legal analysts over whether or not an indictment for any charge at all seemed like a no-brainer. Then last night, the peaceful protests began.Smaller groups in Harlem and Staten Island and at Grand Central Terminal were later followed by a march 5,000 people strong down Broadway through Times Square. Protesters are still rallying for some type of justice for Garner, who, just minutes before his death, broke up a fight between a few other people and then found himself surrounded by NYPD. A video of the entire altercation was caught on a cellphone and Garner's hands were clearly up as he backed away from officers who were determined to arrest him for selling loose cigarettes — a summary offense.Pantaleo wrestled Garner to the ground in what appeared to be a type of chokehold, something that has been banned by the NYPD. Even as Garner expressed his inability to breathe and another officer directed Pantaleo to release him, he continued the maneuver until Garner eventually died on that sidewalk. Ironically enough, after it was announced that the grand jury would not be charging Pantaleo with a single crime, he issued an apology to Garner's family, something his widow, Esaw Garner refused to accept.
  • 'RHONJ' Teresa Giudice Sues Bankruptcy Attorney James Kridel, Blames Him for Jail Sentence

Remember how Teresa Giudice stood before the judge in open court in early October and said she was ready to take full responsibility for her bad business decisions that resulted in her and husband Joe Giudice defrauding just about every business partner they have had in the last several years? Well, scratch that because it looks like Teresa was more interested in saying the right thing in the hopes of getting out of a prison stint. It did not work, as "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" star is expected to turn herself in to begin serving 15 months Jan. 5, but she has decided to play the blame game before she goes away.Teresa has filed a $5 million lawsuit against her bankruptcy attorney James Kridel, basically blaming his ineptness for her being sentenced to prison. A list of assets had been requested by the court, and while it was submitted — late — it was also missing numerous things, such as property and luxury items owned by the Giudices. When they arrived for sentencing in October, they were vilified for not reporting everything and concealing assets right up to the end, which may have been the thing that prompted the judge to throw the proverbial book at Teresa. It is also a convenient way for the reality star to shift the blame onto someone other than herself, and that is exactly what she is attempting to do with Kridel. Plus, she is now broke and still has to pay back more than $200,000 in restitution as part of her sentencing, so Teresa is really desperate to generate cash flow from wherever she can, and she knows that her options are limited.
