Mariah Carey cannot catch a break. According to hip-hop producer Mally Mall, ex-husband Nick Cannon is getting ready to release an album in 2015 and he has something to say about Mariah on it — and it doesn't end there. Approached by gossip website TMZ at the airport waiting for his bag (as they love to do), Mally Mal was asked about what music he has coming up in 2015, where he takes the moment to mention his work with Nick Cannon that he is captaining. He is asked if fans can expect to hear a duet with Mariah and Cannon and Mall shares, "Nah, but he's talking about Mariah on the records. There's going to be a lot of controversy" via Hip Hop DX.

Before wishing TMZ viewers a happy holiday, Mally tried to slow the rumor mill that he inevitably just started 10 seconds ago with his comments about the Nick Cannon album. He backtracked a little on the "there's going to a lot of controversy" comment saying Cannon has both good and bad things to say about his ex-wife.

It isn't surprising that Cannon would write songs about his ex-wife since artists derive inspiration from their life. The divorce process has been long, arduous and quite public affair for the two of them and has been blamed in part for Carey's poor performance at the tree lighting ceremony in New York City earlier this month.

Nick Cannon released his second studio album White People Party Music, which had features from Afrojack, Pitbull, Akon, Future, Migos and more on April 1, 2014. It was his first album released in 11 years as a result of his busy acting and TV hosting career. The next album is expected to be released in 2015.
