    Finally, a EDM-event cancelled for something other than organizers and local law enforcement being worried that fans wouldn't be able to attend in a healthy manner. Tiësto opted to call off his April show in Caracas, the capitol of Venezuela, due to the current political upheaval in the state.

    A 28-year-old private security guard is in "extremely critical condition" from a severe brain hemorrhage after she was trampled by crashers at Ultra Music Festival in Miami last night. According to the Miami Herald, city leaders are calling for an end to the event.

    Last night, the Cure hit the stage for their first performance of 2014, an appearance for the Teenage Cancer Trust Benefit at London's Royal Albert Hall. As Consequence of Sound notes, the 45-song set featured rare cuts and live debuts with three encores. They will return to the venue tonight for another performance.

    The Morrison Hotel Gallery, known for showcasing fine art music photography across the country, has partnered with New York City's Dream Downtown hotel to present an exhibit on Kurt Cobain. Photographer Jesse Frohman will launch his tribute to the artist with a collection of photographs he took of the late Nirvana singer, shortly before his death 20 years ago.
