Perfect Pussy, a Syracuse-based punk band, has come up with a new, bold idea: vinyl mixed with blood.

    According to Billboard, Moby has been slated to headline Global Green USA's 11th Pre-Oscar Party later this month. As the article notes, the electronic music veteran's set will take place February 26 at the Avalan Hollywood. The "zero-waste" fundraising party hopes to bring Hollywood's elite activists and eco-conscious celebrities together. Crystal Method has been announced as the DJ for the evening.

    Stage diving has become the latest concerts-may-kill-you craze in the last week, as several prominent performers have been accused of, and convicted of, causing injury by lunging into crowds from the stage. Music Times reported on Tuesday that EDM DJ Skrillex was being sued by a fan who alleged he caused her to have a stroke by stage diving, and now alternative rockers Fishbone are being ordered to pay a fan $1.4 million for injuries resulting from the stage antic.

Fresh off the release of his 12th studio album Morning Phase, Beck will be Friday night's headliner, with a reunited Neutral Milk Hotel on Saturday and indie's favorite rapper/that guy who made "Radioactive" listenable Kendrick Lamar will tackle Sunday's lineup.
