    Outkast has confirmed there will be no new music in 2014. First, the mega-famous "Hey Ya" duo announced a reunion with 40 festival shows this year, then its former manager Queen Latifah said there would be a new album and then, uh, no there wouldn't. But today (Feb. 20), the word has come straight from Big Boi himself: Outkast will not be releasing a new record.

    Conor Oberst is going to court. Yesterday (Feb. 19), the Bright Eyes/Desaparecidos frontman filed a libel lawsuit in the New York federal courts against an XOJane reader who said the singer-songwriter raped her in an anonymous comment on the story "I Dated a Famous Rock Star & All I Got Was Punched in the Face."

    Wayne Smith, a Jamaican reggae vocalist influential in the shift from instrumental to digital within the genre, has passed away at the age of 48. He entered Kingston Public Hospital on Friday after experiencing stomach pains, according to his son, Tidel.
