As should have been expected, Miley Cyrus' Bangerz Tour is gathering quite a bit of controversy. Despite her saying the trek would be "educational for kids," her crazy antics are making parents angry. The show's controversial material mixed with high ticket prices and half sold-out shows mean Cyrus fans of all sorts aren't particularly pleased.

According to Forbes, the ticket prices for the Bangerz Tour alienate a large portion of Cyrus' target demographic, mainly college-aged individuals who are highly amused by the "We Can't Stop" songstress. 300-level seats for the tour's Verizon Center show start at $86, $20 more than the same seats for Lady Gaga's ARTPOP Tour.

The high ticket prices mean so-so sales for the Bangerz Tour and almost no resale on the secondary market.

So, who can afford these tickets? Parents. For their tweenage kids. And that market is not pleased with the content of the show.

Some examples of Miley's Bangerz show include fellating a man in a Bill Clinton mask, parading around in a marijuana leaf onesie and, of course, plenty of twerking and boob-grabbing.

According to E! Online though the tour is safe from being cancelled, parents have been complaining en masse about the performances.

Despite all of this, Cyrus seems largely unconcerned about her tour. This morning (Feb. 20), she dismissed her retractors on Twitter. "You can't say I didn't warn you. Now sit back relax & enjoy the show," she wrote. "Save your complaints for the McDonalds drive thru when they forget the 'fries with that.'"
