Nicki Minaj and Megan Thee Stallion's feud has exploded all over social media in the past few days. As if the back and forth of diss tracks weren't enough, Nicki Minaj couldn't help but release all of her bottled-up emotions and thoughts about her online.

Nicki Minaj, after going live on Joe Budden's Twitter Space, suggests that Megan Thee Stallion wanted a "Rihanna moment."

Earlier today, Nicki Minaj went to Joe Budden's X Space and spoke at length about her feud with Megan Thee Stallion. (via Complex)

At one point, Nicki Minaj sniped on Megan Thee Stallion's interview with Gayle King on CBS News.

"Now you go on Gayle King," Minaj said. "She wanted a- To be honest, it's so obvious, she wanted a Rihanna moment so bad."

Nicki is referencing Nicki Minaj's 2009 CBS News appearance where she spoke about the violent assault by her then-boyfriend, Chris Brown.

"But here's the thing, Rihanna is just known for being herself. You get what you see, you see what you get, you get what you see type of vibe, right? [...] Rihanna never would milk something. Like, you could tell she couldn't wait to try to move on with her life, and then people even bashed her for not dragging it out, not milking it [...]" Minaj continued.

Minaj is referring to how Megan Thee Stallion's 2020 incident was still being talked about in 2023 and how it became a longstanding topic about her and her music for so long.

"She was just like, 'Yo, I was mad young. We were young. I'm just trying to move on with my life now.' You know why? Because Rihanna knows that she was a superstar with or without controversy. She's beautiful with or without controversy. She's loved with or without controversy, I'm sorry, sympathy," she added.
