At the 2024 Grammy Awards, Taylor Swift won the biggest accolade of the evening, but not without controversy.

Making one of her few public appearances since disclosing her ongoing struggle with stiff person syndrome, a rare neurological ailment, Celine Dion (she looks soooo stunning btw!) went onstage to announce Swift won the Album of the Year award.

Swift "fully ignored" Dion on stage, according to social media users on X, shortly after she received the Grammy Award for her album "Midnights."

"not trying to be hater but being handed a Grammy by Celine Dion in her very triumphant first public appearance in a long time and barely making eye contact insane," wrote @adamjmoussa on X.

"Remember like four hours ago when Miley was so excited and eloquent about accepting an award from Mariah? Yeah, that was nice," @annkpowers wrote of the moment.

However, the rumors of animosity were quickly dispelled when a backstage picture of Swift hugging Dion appeared on social media.

Some joked that Swift's public relations team moved fast to release the picture.

Swift has received honors from Dion in the past. Before giving the "Anti-Hero" singer the 2013 Billboard Music Awards Artist of the Year trophy, she gave him an embrace on stage.

Meanwhile, as can be said in the video after she was announced as getting the Album of the Year award, Swift dragged her friend and fellow singer Lana Del Rey onstage with her.

Onstage, Swift said, "I would love to tell you that this is the best moment of my life, but I feel this happy when I finish a song, or when I crack the code to a bridge that I love, or when I'm shot-listing a music video or when I'm rehearsing with my dancers, or my band, or getting ready to go to Tokyo to play a show."

She continued, "For me, the award is the work. All I wanna do is keep being able to do this. I love it so much, it makes me so happy. It makes me unbelievably blown away that it makes some people happy who voted for this award, too. All I wanna do is keep doing this, so thank you so much for giving me the opportunity to do what I love so much."
