Victoria Monet is a name that may sound familiar to fans who love listening to R&B music, but to others, she is simply The Recording Academy's Best New Artist in 2024.

Due to her recent Grammy wins, Monet is brought to the attention of many, and her song "On My Mama" debuted on US Spotify with 356 thousand streams, Pop Base reports.

Fans could not believe that this is the first time the "Jaguar" hitmaker has entered mainstream success, especially since she has been the genius behind several chart-topping hits like Ariana Grande's "Thank U Next" and "7 Rings."

"...Debuts..? It has been on the Hot 100 this whole time and was NEVER on US Spotify ..?"

"DEBUTS? The US has been SLEEPING on this hit omg?!?! Wake up USA!"

Victoria Monet Finally Receives Her Flowers

Grande, one of Monet's longtime friends and collaborators, congratulated the singer online right after she won her first Grammy.

"My friend, you deserve this one million times over," the "Positions" singer wrote. "I am so deeply proud of and happy for you there are no words. You have worked so hard and given so much of yourself to this industry for so, so long while quietly being in your absolute own league.

"We've talked about this happening since the day we met and over many tour bus sleepovers."

Monet responded to Grande's heartfelt message: "Oh my God, I do not want to cry."

"I love you Ari. If you're hearing this, I love you so much. Thank you for being a believer and supporting me from the very beginning. You knew things that other people didn't know and saw things in me that other people didn't see. You've been so ride or die, so this is my love letter to you."
