Usher's Super Bowl Halftime Show was successful, but some were left disappointed after Justin Bieber did not make an appearance.

Justin attended the big game with his wife, Hailey Bieber. He sparked a buzz that he could possibly perform with Usher because they collaborated on the track "Somebody to Love." However, it did not happen at all.

Fans Disappointed After Justin Bieber Missed the Show

On X, some social media users accused Justin of banking on his collaboration with Usher by not joining him onstage at the Super Bowl Halftime Show. Some also called out Usher for failing to bring the "Ghost" singer with him when he managed to take Alicia Keys, Lil Jon, Ludacris, will.i.am and H.E.R.

One said, "Justin bieber fans on their way to work tomorrow after he didn't join usher for the halftime show and let the fans relive their childhood."

"So we were all just waiting for Justin Bieber to come out at the Halftime show?" another shared, while another chimed in, "no really i'm ok i just thought justin bieber would grace us with his presence for the halftime show."

A fourth wrote, "no justin bieber surprise halftime show performance."

Rumors started circulating a week before the Halftime Show as reports that Usher was trying to bring Bieber on stage surfaced. It would have been a reunion 16 years after they shared the stage.

Real Reason Why Justin Bieber Did Not Perform With Usher

Following the backlash, sources told Page Six that the "Baby" hitmaker declined Usher's invitation because he "was not feeling it."

"There's no bad blood between Usher and Justin. Justin just wasn't up for it - he just wasn't feeling it," the insider said.

Usher reportedly did his best to persuade Justin so they could create a moment as a tribute to their collaboration.

Justin previously postponed the remaining dates of his Justice tour after learning about his Ramsay Hunt Syndrome diagnosis. The medical condition, which can cause facial paralysis and hearing loss, reportedly "took a real toll" on the singer.

Before his Super Bowl attendance, he marked his first performance in a year at Drake's History Club in Toronto before the 2024 NHL All-Star Weekend.
